The Right Path

So...

I'm in Japan.

More specifically I'm in a hotel room in Japan waiting for my dad who is in a business meeting. Apparently is not just a daughter-father trip, is a trip for him to convince his sponsors to not quit on the dealership.

So basically I'm trap in this hotel room watching TV. Or I was until my dad burst into my room.

"We're going to Okinawa!!!" He said exited

"I just came out of a 13 hour flight there is no way I'm getting in a plane again" I said crossing my arms

"We're getting McDonalds on our way to the airport" he said

"I'll pack my bags"

We arrive to Okinawa and just the Airport it self was beautiful I can't imagine the how the village was.

"Davina take your sunglasses off" dad said to me while we were going down the
stairs

"Why?" I asked him

"Okinawa is a very traditional old village I don't want everyone to think we're tourists" he said while stopping a taxi

"Ok?" I said weird out

We got in the taxi and both great the taxi driver and send him to Mr. Miyagi old village "Tomi Village".

"When was last time you saw Tomi Village?" The driver asked my dad

"Uh... it's been a while" he said

While we were driving we got through the country side of the town, it was beautiful, I could see my dad with a nostalgic smile on his face, and made me happy to.

The car stoped so we both got out of the car, and man that was not what I was expected.

"Tomi Village Green?, a mall?" My dad was so confused

"Wow dad yeah super traditional" I said while I put my glasses again and walked to the mall "oh look KFC!"

"Tomi Village was sold?" My dad asked I girl that worked at a restaurant

"When villagers crops started to die out, village almost died as well, so Mr. Sato turned to a whole new economy, retail! Now, Tomi Village is premier destination, for shopping entertainment..." the girl was saying but my dad cut her off

"Yeah but what happened to the villagers?, weren't they upset about what happened to their home?" Dad asked her

"No. It brought them jobs, moderns homes, it save their village" the woman said

"This is nothing like I remember" dad said frustrated

"Yes, there are a lot of changes, we used to have a Subway, now we have a Jersey Mike's" she said

"Uh!!! That's awesome" I said clapping

"I have a menu if you'd like to see" she said exited

"No that's ok, thank you for you time Arigato!" My dad said to her

"Enjoy the rest of your time at Tomi Village Green" she said to us

We heard music that made us turn around, and there was a bunch of kids dancing.

"That's so cute" I said while walking closer to see

I turned around to see my dad and he had a smile on his face. Weird.
When the show was done everyone clapped including us. The women started thanking everyone that was watching, I was gonna leave when I saw that my dad wasn't moving.
