Chapter 27 (Teachers Pet)

The teachers entered the classroom without a word. Mic was excited and All Might was worried.

Mr. Aizawa and Hawks walked in. Aizawa had an annoyed look on his face while Hawks smiled excitedly.

"Today's class, we are doing something new. Hawks had an idea." Aizawa sighed tiredly. "Midoriya will be fighting Hawks as a demonstration, this demonstration is to show the growth within the past 2 days of the group training."

"Huh?" Izuku tilted his head. The class gaped at Aizawa for allowing the fight, ignoring Izuku and Hawks. Hawks smirked and mouthed 'payback'. Izuku glared and turned away.

The class changed into their gym clothes and headed out to ground beta. Izuku walked with Uraraka, Tsu and Iida. They tried to calm Izuku's nerves, but he wasn't necessarily nervous. He was mostly upset. He didn't want to hurt Hawks.

"We will head to the USJ after the demonstration. There are cameras so we can see everything." Aizawa announced.

"Why is Iz-Deku doing the demonstration?" Bakugou asked.

"We've been training for weeks together, so I believe he will show the best efficiency. Why? Are you worried?" Hawks countered.

"N-no!" Bakugou stuttered.

"Alright Midoriya, Hawks get into place. Class, follow me to the screening room. Recovery Girl is waiting for us."

Izuku took his place at the entrance of ground beta. He waited for one of the teachers to speak and tell him to begin, but it never came.

Izuku started to wonder, aimlessly around, waiting for Hawks to find him. He heard a quiet heartbeat sound and knew exactly what it was. He smiled and continued to walk as if he didn't know Hawks was going to jump him.

Suddenly the pro hero swooped down and tried to grab the green haired boy. Izuku easily dodged with a back flip. Hawks lunged with a right hook. Izuku ducked and countered with a swift undercut without using his quirk. Hawks noticed and lunged again with Izuku dodging.

"Do you think you can beat me without using your quirk?" Hawks chuckled.

"Big mistake." Hawks released four feathers, sending them to Izuku, like spears. Izuku dodged three, and one cut his left cheek. Blood dripped down his face and he smirked.

"Is that all you got?" Izuku huffed.

Hawks laughed as his attention went behind the boy. Izuku realized quickly and dodged the four feathers that were returning to Hawks.

"Quick thinking." Hawks stated, impressed.

"You said you wanted me to use my quirk, fine. Don't blame me for what happens." Izuku said coldly. Hawks felt a chill go through his spine at the words.

Suddenly with a flash Izuku was a few inches away. He swiped his leg under Hawks, knocking the hero to the ground.

"Not bad, need some work though."

"What do you m-"

Hawks quickly grabbed Izuku's leg and pulled him onto the ground. Hawks pinned the boy. Izuku tried to break free but the only way he could do so, was if he hurt Hawks.

Izuku was not going to lose, no matter the cost. Izuku used 8% and kneed Hawks in the stomach. Hawks jumped back and held his stomach.

"Sorry I-"

"What did I say about apologizing? You escaped my hold. Now we continue fighting till one of us surrenders."

"Right."

The two continued to fight as the rest of the class watched. The students couldn't hear what they were saying, only Recovery Girl had the headphones on. So as the two spoke the others could only see the movements.

"Not so bad, Number 2 Hero~" Izuku teased.

"Oh you're dead." Hawks laughed.

"That's not very heroic~" Izuku rolled his eyes. Recovery girl chuckled at the two's remarks and grabbed the microphone.

"You two are supposed to be fighting, not flirting." The speakers boomed. Izuku turned bright red and crossed his arms. Hawks blushed slightly, but laughed when he saw Izuku's reaction.

'Flirting!' All of class 1A, Shinsou, and the other teachers were shocked. Bakugou smiled sadly with a knowing look.

"Where's the fun in that." Hawks yelled back to the nurse.

"You are not supposed to be having fun, young Hawks." The old woman remarked. Hawks groaned and Izuku laughed.

"You think that's funny?" Hawks huffed and Izuku giggled.

"You're going down." Hawks said confidently.

"You'd like it if I got down on ya~" Izuku froze. 'Did I just say that?' Hawks' cheeks went dark.

There was a silence between the two. Hawks knew that they had to give the demonstration but...

"OKAY THAT'S ENOUGH!" The speakers boomed. "YOU GAVE A GREAT DEMONSTRATION, NOW IT'S TIME TO BEGIN THE GROUP TRAINING!" Recovery Girl yelled with a mortified look.

The students didn't know why the demonstration was cut short but they didn't bother to ask. The students got into their groups and walked down to the USJ.

Hawks and Izuku had to exit ground beta and catch up to the rest. They rushed out only to be stopped by Recovery Girl.

"What was that about?" She asked with a cheeky grin.

"What was that about?" Hawks asked.

"Don't play coy. You're together, aren't you." Recovery Girl smirked with excitement.

Hawks smiled and Recovery Girl squealed. Izuku blushed and twiddled his thumbs, nervously. Recovery Girl looked at him and smiled brightly.

"Ah, young love. I remember it well." She turned to Hawks.

"If you hurt him, they won't find your body." She teased. The three of them laughed as Recovery teased and praised them. She knows that age doesn't matter in their relationship and Izuku is only five years younger. She loved how happy the two were.

"Your secret's safe with me."
