Kinabukasan matapos ang naganap sa pagitan nila Samantha at Alyssa, hindi maikakaila ang pagkabalisa ni Samantha. Ramdam ito ni Albie kaso kahit ilang ulit niyang itanong kung may problema ba si Samantha ay sasagot lang ito na wala at okay lang siya.

Nagtanong na si Albie sa mga kaibigan ni Samantha kung mayroon bang nabanggit si Samantha sa kanila kung may problema ba ito ngunit wala naman daw. Huli niyang tinawagan si Alyssa.

"Albs.. may problema ba?"

"Oh hey! Sorry to bother you today, Ly but uhm.. just wondering if Samantha ever told you anything about.. I don't know, any problems lately?" Alyssa could feel her heart racing and she wondered if ever Samantha told Albie about last night.

"Like what, Albie?" Alyssa's voice was shaky but Albie was too worried about what's been going on with Samantha that she failed to notice it.

"I don't know. She's just been acting weird lately. I figured it must be because we had a fight before, remember that? But Sam told me it's okay na but I don't think so. Then today she seems extra nervous and distant. I don't know what's going on and since you're her bestfriend, you might know something that I don't?"

"Oh." Iyon ang naisagot ni Alyssa. Hindi niya alam kung anong isasagot niya kay Albie. Alam niya kung ano ang problema ni Samantha pero wala naman siya sa posisyon upang sabihin ito kay Albie. She knows that Samantha is the only one who has the right to tell Albie about what happened despite the fact that she's one of the sole contributor of the problem they are both facing. Hindi pa nga rin siya maka-move on sa sinabi kagabi ni Samantha sa kanya.

"Oh? May alam ka ba, Alyssa?" Albie's voice was filled with curiousity and it is killing Alyssa with guilt.

"I.. no, walang nabanggit si Sam saakin, Albs. But it's most likely just wedding jitters. Alam mo naman siya if kinakabahan.." Alyssa heard Albie's sigh of relief and it killed her even more. She wanted to end the call as soon as she can just so the guilt can't grow any further.

"Hay, you must be right. I thought something serious was going on but she really must be nervous just like me. Anyways, thanks for your time again, Alyssa! See you in.. 3 days?" Alyssa simply hummed in reply before ending the call. She slumped herself back to her bed and curled, trying to hide away from the world.

Alyssa woke up to the series of knocking against her bedroom door. Kinusot niya ang mga mata at dahan-dahang naupo. She opened her phone only to find out that it's dead. Muli niyang narinig ang mga katok sa kanyang pintuan and upon hearing her boyfriend's voice, she finally stood up to go and open the door.

"LY?!" Alyssa was welcomed by Benedix's loud voice and before she even knows it, the guy is already embracing her in a tight hug. "Jusko po, akala ko naman kung kinuha ka na ni Kokey o kung ano man!"

"Sira ka ba, anong kokey ka jan?" Natawa nang kaunti si Alyssa sa inaasta ni Benedix. "What's wrong at bakit ganon nalang ang pagkatok mo?"

"You weren't answering my calls and texts, it's been six hours. Usually ang tinatagal ng reply mo ay five hours lang." Nagkibit-balikat si Benedix. "I got worried, I thought something happened."

Natahimik si Alyssa before releasing a heavy sigh. She gave her boyfriend a gentle, apologetic smile and the smile made Benedix's heart drop. He can feel something big is about to happen.

"My phone is dead and I was asleep lang.. I'm kind of hungry, Ben. Can you cook me something?"

"Ah.. oo naman! Sandali, maupo ka muna jan at ako ang bahala sa'yo." Benedix gave her a wink before leaving to make Alyssa her late lunch. Benedix took his time making food. Alam niya kasing after nito ay.. Benedix shook his head, trying to brush away the negative thoughts in mind. Siguro ay nag-ooverthink lang siya.
