I'm asexual and either aegoromantic (Part of the aromantic spectrum) or homoromantic and I decided to post some things about the asexual and aromantic spectrums and my experiences as an aeroace woman.
Both the asexual and aromantic communities are full of kind and accepting people with wonderful seanses of humor.
One thing about the community is that asexuals a lot of times wear black rings on our right middle finger as a sort of code saying "I'm asexual", we call it an ace ring, I haven't gotten one, but i'm also not really open about my asexuality with my family and friends.

The aromantics wear a white ring on their left middle finger to show that they are aromantic, once again, I don't have one.

We also have "ace cards", it's not used very offten since asexuality is more complicated then just 4 cards, but it's fun to know about.
The Ace Of Hearts represents Alloromantic asexuals, which are asexuals that still experence romantic attraction.
The Ace Of Spades represents Aromantic asexuals, like me.
The Ace Of Diamonds represents gray-asexuals/gray-aromantics and Demisexuals/Demiromantics
The Ace Of Clubs represents people that are questioning if they are on the spectrum.
There are a few popular jokes in the community, one of them is garlic bread. Asexuals are obbsessed with garlic bread, from what I understand, it started because asexuals would rather eat garlic bread then have sex. The same goes for cake.
Another one is invading Denmark. The asexuals are invading Denmark to make it the garlic bread capital of the world. The joke started because statistically there are more asexuals in the world then people in Denmark. The last I checked, the Pansexuals are helping to invade Denmark in exchange for help invading Sweden and the Bisexuals are helping because of the Pace bi alliance (Pansexuals, asexuals and bisexuals).
