Abby's hands shook as the card she was holding fell to the floor. Her face porcelain as her whole body began to shake.

Melissa who was finally given permission to talk business with her after being home for the week stopped her rambles over the paperwork she held as she noticed Abby's actions.

"Abby?" she knelt down quickly and looked at the almost petrified look on her bosses face.

"Abby... what the hell?" her voice was more demanding as she spoke this time.

She couldn't speak. She pointed to the card which Melissa quickly picked up and read before running out of the room.

She took deep breaths. This wasn't going to happen. Not now. Not ever.

Those words weren't said in jest but their strength was lost on her. She was stronger than them. The implications were undeniable but they were only words.

And babies make... just you and me my pet. You disappoint me. I thiught you had better taste in men; or man.

A clear threat to them all... and a confirmation that he knew exactly who her three men were. To be honest she was waiting for this day to arrive. The day when Freddie became second best to James.

After all the torture he'd put James through it was her that allowed James the last laugh. He'd won her heart and she despised Freddie with every fibre of her being.

How did he take it when he found out the truth of who she was seeing? To know she preferred the one person he terrified beyond belief?  With any luck it kept him awake at night.

She looked at the lillies the card had been attached to and thought of their meaning. Funeral flowers.

They made her determination skyrocket. Poor Freddie would be expecting a weeping little girl but there was no way in hell he was going to get that. If Freddie wanted to play then she'd play. It was time for pet Freddie to learn his place and Mistress Abigal to shine.

"Princess...." Caleb came running into the room and pulled her in close "We won't let him near you."

"Caleb I promise I'm ok. I was shocked and yeh scared for our babies but I'm ok really."

He looked down at her with concerned filled eyes. What he saw was a fixed determination he'd never seen on her face before.

"What's going on in that mind of yours princess?"

She licked her lips and Caleb held back the groan that wanted to form as he remembered they had company.

"I have an idea but I need to think it through first and then.." she broke off knowing exactly what Caleb was going to say.

"And then?" he prompted.

"And then" she sighed "I'll have to talk to Freddie."

Melissa's screech of what was over ruled by Caleb's outburst

"What the fúck? No fúcking way! What the fúck Abby? Do you really think that we'd let you put yourself or our babies in danger?"

"Caleb I said it needed some working out..."

He stepped back slightly and gripped her arms.

"You listen to me Abigal Crayson and you listen up well... Not. Fûcking. Happening!"

"I'm not planning on doing it on my own Caleb. Be reasonable..."

"REASONABLE? You want reasonable? Fúck Abby you almost died. We nearly lost you and you want me to be reasonable?"

"Caleb..." she reached out but he stepped away.

"No. No fúcking way are we risking you or the babies Abby. No. Fúcking. Way."

"You don't even know what I'm thinking Caleb.."

He stepped forward and pulled her into his arms again and dropped his head on her shoulders.

"He's not getting anywhere near you or the babies."

She felt him shudder and her heart broke as she cursed herself for even mentioning it without thinking it through first.

"What's going on?"

Noah stood in the doorway with a look that was concerned but bordering on anger by the scene in front of him.

"Freddie sent a threatening message."

"Where is it?" Noah instantly clenched his fists.

Melissa picked it up from where Caleb first threw it when he came into the room and took it to him.

Scanning quickly Noah's jaw became as firm as a rock.

"Abby has some idea..." Caleb started.

"No." Noah's firm voice held an eerie sense of finality.

"Noah..."

"No Abby. Whatever you're thinking isn't happening. Ever."

"I have to agree with the guys Abby. Freddie's dangerous."

Abby sighed and cursed herself again as she felt the slight moisture on her shoulder. Caleb was crying. Her arms held him closer.

"Promise us you won't do anything stupid Abby. You.."

"Noah, I wasn't planning on doing anything. I have an idea that needs thinking before I even know if it'll work but I never intended to put myself or our babies at risk."

"That's the whole point love" Noah said as he walked into the room towards them "Freddie doesn't care who he hurts and if anything he's probably wound up like a fúcking cornered king brown snake and as dangerous as fúck now he knows you're with us."

"When will he ever go away Noah? I don't want him threatening us for the rest of our lives. We need to do something..."

Caleb raised his head and her heart melted as she reached up and wiped his cheeks with her thumbs as Noah gently ran his hands over both their heads.

"Princess. We'll work something out I promise but anything that involves ou won't even make it to the table."

"CAJUN" she said quickly.

Caleb's eyes sparkled for a moment at the memory.

"Why on earth did you mention the name of the club?" Melissa asked.

"You named the club CAJUN?" Caleb roared with laughter.

Abby grinned at him with a nod.

"Why CAJUN love?"

She looked at him with her eyes full of love.

"Because it's joint name for us all. For everything we are. Together. Caleb, Abby, James and Noah."

"What about the 'U'?" Caleb asked.

"That's the easiest to explain."

"And?" Noah waved a hand at her making her grin.

"Us."
