"Do you need anything else baby?"

"No James. Please... I beg you... just stop!"

Abby had finally realised the true nature of the men she she was living with. They hadn't been kidding when they said she was their world nor were they kidding when they said they wanted to spoil her rotten.

But this... this... was painful.

Like sure, she appreciated everything they did but when she was sat down and scolded for getting a glass of water she wanted to commit murder. Painful, excrutiating murder.

"Baby..."

"No James... please... I can get myself a glass of water..."

"Naww baby, you don't have to. We'll take care of you!"

She dropped her head to the table in defeat. She wasn't going to win this argument. She'd scared the guys when she became so ill and now they were freaking out about everything she did.

Was this how it was going to be for the rest of her pregnancy? She'd be completely crazy in a month let alone by the time the babies arrived. Maybe she could bribe them? Blackmail? Bargaining? Something had to work!

"Here you go baby" James placed the glass of water on the table beside her before kneeling down.

She sat up and turned towards him with a smile. Try as she might, as annoying as it was, she couldn't get angry with these guys.

"You're so beautiful baby" he reached to the fringe of her hair and moved it away from her eyes. His own held so much love it took her breath away.

"I love you James."

Tears welled as he buried his head on her lap.

"I love you so much Abby" he choked on his words "You've given us everything we could have dreamed of...everything we needed. It was you. You're the reason we get to be a complete family. Thank you baby. Thank you for making me a Dad."

She gently ran her hand over his head.

"No James... thank you for making me a Mum."

He knelt upright and shook his head.

"You're going to be a great Mum baby. Our kids are so lucky to have you. I just hope I don't stuff things up."

She placed her hands on his face.

"James you're going to be a great Dad."

"How do you know Abby? I'm scared. Scared I'll make mistakes and our babies won't love me."

She shook her head quickly.

"No James. That'll never happen. You have so much love to offer..."

"But mistakes..."

"Oh James. We're all first time parents. There's going to be mistakes but we'll get through them. We'll learn by them and our kids will love us even more for it."

He lent in and put his arms around her waist and rested his head on her chest.

"I hope so baby. God I hope so."

"I'm scared too James."

He lent back quickly and looked at her in surprise.

"No way!"

"Yes way" she teased. " We may not have what society calls a normal relationship but we are just like every other parent out there expecting their first child. It's normal to feel scared, to be worried, to have fears."

"We're all scared baby boy" Noah walked into the kitchen with Caleb not far behind. They both carried bags of shopping with them.

"Why are you both scared?" James couldn't help but ask them "You guys are always so strong and..."

"And nothing baby boy. Look at me" Noah had put the bags he was carrying on the table. "Do I look like father material? I'm built like a wall... what do I know about being gentle?"

"Oh please!" Abby rolled her eyes "Noah, you're like the Dad in this relationship. You're always making sure we're all ok. As for being gentle, you three guys are amazing. Each one of you have made me feel so special and..."

"Oh stop" James broke in "I'm going to cry."

Caleb and Noah chuckled as Abby put her arms around him and he buried his head into her shoulder.

"We can do this you know" Abby said softly as she rested her cheek on his head "I mean it's not like we can send them back once they're here anyway."

Caleb laughed out loud while Noah's mouth dropped open and James chuckled into her.

"Baby girl, rest assured, we wouldn't even try." Caleb's eyes sparkled.
