LEXIS POV

The next morning I woke up in bed and checked my phone to see any messages. Last night Jaylen tried to tell me that Derrick wasn't good but I brushed it off .

Last night Derrick and I had a wonderful time. He's intelligent, handsome, and so funny... My thoughts were cut off by a knock at the door.

"What are you doing here?" I said looking up at Jaylen in the door way.

He didn't say anything he just pushed passed me and walked in. How you just gon walk into some bodies house...

"Excuse you." I said looking at him. "I didn't say you can come up in here-" I was cut off by Jaylen's lips on mine. They were soft. They felt right... But hell no they were wrong.

I pulled back and looked away.

"What's wrong?" He chuckled. I looked up to see his deep dimples and his light eyes. No no no I can't be thinking about this nigga like that. Not when he has that mf a uhhhhhhhhh lookin gf.

"Boy where is yo pet?" He looked at me and laughed.

"You mean Erica? I don't know. I don't care." He shrugged and sat on the couch.

"Yall not together anymore?" I sat next to him.
"You with Derrick?" He looked at me pushing aside my question.

"Well we talking but we're not official"

He nodded. "What was that stuff you was saying about him not being good?" I cocked my eyebrow. I really didn't see anything wrong with Derrick.

"Man just know he isn't good for you. I know his history." He stated still staring at the tv.

"Okay are you going to throw me some examples?"
"Nope just believe me. He ain't good for you" He stared me in my eyes.

"And you think you are?" I stared back

He shook his head and got up. "I'll see you at school tomorrow." With that he walked out the door and left me there wondering what the fuck was so wrong with Derrick. I was curious to know his flaws.

Next Day

I woke up and got up to get dressed. I didn't feel like really getting dressed so I just threw on a black crop top some joggers and my bred 11s. Along with my Michael Kors handbang.
My mom left me the keys to the Benz so I drove myself to school.

Jaylin POV

I walked into class late. I overslept after working last night. Boss had me do a late pickup on a body down in Crenshaw.

Our usual crew was in the back Chillin as usual so I just went ahead and say down at my desk.

"Why are you late?" Lexis turned to me.

"I overslept-" I was cut off by Erica coming up to me.

"Why are you coming in class late and didn't call me this morning?" She started getting in my face.

"Man chill with all of that" I said sitting back in my seat. Lexis laughed as Erica continued to go off.

"The fuck are you laughing at Hoe?!" Erica yelled causing the class to turn around in shock. All eyes were on Erica and Lexis and you can tell Lexis was about to say something.

"Hoe?! Girl you don't know me. Jaylin get your Young Thug lookin hoe before somethin start" Lexis snapped.

I ain't Gon lie Lexis was fine as hell when she was mad.

"Erica sit down Foreal man" I said.

"You gon take that bitch side?!" She yelled. "You really Finna choose this sewer ass hoe over your girlfriend."

"Ima need you to stop calling me out of my mother given name" Lexis said getting out her seat.
"Bitch or what?! You dumb ass-" before Erica can even get the final name out her mouth Lexis socked her right in the jaw.

The class filled with "oh shits" and "DAMMMMN"

Erica and Lexis started swinging on them for a good few seconds until Lexis on top swinging.

Willy and I pulled them apart and Erica still tried to come out of my wrapped arms.

"You bitch!" Erica yelled with a busted lip. Lexis had no scratches, no busted lip, she was untouched. Just in Willy's hold laughing.

"Look at your face bitch" Lexis laughed as she was escorted out the room.

"Damn Lexis beat her ass" Willy laughed as we sat back down.

Everyone in the class was talking about it some people recorded of course.

"She wasn't playing no games" Camrie said as we all laughed. Lexis did beat Erica ass and I know I'm going to have to hear Erica go on and on about it.
