3rd pov

7-year-old Luffy ran towards Makino Party's Bar with a big smile on his young face.

"Makino-san!!!" shouted Luffy running inside the bar all the laughter coming from the pirates died down curious about what got Luffy excited about.

"Yes?" answered Makino behind the bar counter.

"Is it this week?! It's this week, right?!" questioned Luffy bouncing on his seat.

Makino giggled then replied, "Yes Luffy."

Luffy smile gets even impossibly wider, beaming with joy.

"What's this week Luffy?" questioned Shanks curious about what got Luffy bouncing in his seat.

"This week Y/N-chan's coming for a visit!" said Luffy.

"Y/N?" Shanks said with a brow raised and looked at Makino first time hearing the unfamiliar name.

Makino open her mouth to answer Shanks, but Luffy beat her to it. "Y/N-chan's a Neko, grandpa trains her to be a marine, she visits us whenever she's free."

Shanks blink once then twice "A Neko?" he said with a dumbfounded expression.

"Ah. I wasn't supposed to say that." Started Luffy. Makino giggled at Luffy's troubled expression, "But since it's you Shanks, I think it's okay." Shrugged Luffy. "Hmm..." hummed Shanks intrigue to meet Y/N, so is the rest of the crew who were listening.

TIME- SKIP (WHEN LUFFY WAS TAKEN BY THE BANDITS LEADER)

Makino and the others are waiting by the docks for Luffy and Shanks. Luffy was taken by the bandit's leader who threw a smokescreen to escape to the sea.

A figure is seen walking from the mountains to the docks, once there they saw a group of pirates, the mayor, and Makino, they went to Makino and tap on her shoulders to gain her attention, Makino felt the tap look behind her to see who it was, and who she saw surprised her.

"Y/N-chan!"

"Hello Makino-san, what's going on here?" Y/N said. Makino then explained to her what happened and they were waiting for Shanks but before they can continue someone yelled out.

"Look it's them!"

Shanks is carrying a crying Luffy, Shanks trying to comfort Luffy saying it was just an arm. Y/N went closer to them and saw that the red hair pirate is missing an arm.

Shanks crewmates help their captain and Luffy out of the water, Y/N got closer to check on Luffy. "Luffy are you okay?"

Luffy turns to the person who asks still sniffling. "Y/N-chan..." he went to hug her. "Shanks...*sniff* lost his arm... *hiccup* to save me..." Y/N blink and look at Shanks who was looking at them then back at Luffy.

"Do you want me to get his arm back?" asked Y/N to Luffy. "But the Lord of the Coast ate it..." replied Luffy.

"Don't worry I'll be back, stay here, okay?" she said to which Luffy nodded. Y/N stood up and went to the end of the wooden platform, the others snapped out of their shock and tried to stop her.

"Wait–..." But they're already too late she already jumps at the water.

It didn't take a while to locate the sea king also known as the Lord of the Coast to the locals. She swiftly cut the stomach with her sharp claws, the sea king roared in pain she entered the stomach and retrieve the arm of the red hair pirate.

With the others they saw the Lord of the Coast violently thrashing around before it went limp, they waited for the h/c haired neko to come out of the water. Not a minute later they saw a figure jump out of the water and land on the wooden platform.

"Nya! I got it!" Y/N enthusiastically said while waving Shanks arm around.

"..."

"Eh...? .... –EEHHH!?!?!?!"
