My forever

Full Story

After two years I am finally leaving my house. These last two years my friends have always been there for me as good friends do but I did nothing in return. They tried so hard that I come out of my house but I never listened to them. Today I start a new job, I was lucky that I got job in such a big company. I am going to be the P.A of the CEO of the company. It is a great opportunity and I am finally starting my new life. I am in my thoughts when the door of my house unlocks and Rajveer enters. He is my best friend always supported me in my every decision. He came back to Seattle 2 years back when I shifted here from New York.
“Hi Ana! So all ready for your new job?”
“Yes everything is ready. I am just a little nervous.” I say to him and he smile and replies that I have nothing to be nervous about.
“Come on aren’t you going to drop me?” I say
“Of course. One thing before leaving did you take you medicines and your pump?”
“I won’t need the pump but I have taken my medicines.”
“You are still taking your oxygen pump. No argument on that.”
“You know you are just like Christian bossing around and giving me commands.” His smile disappears so does mine. Why did I say that name? I don’t understand I hate him and still can’t forget him.
“Hey, it’s alright Ana! You are on the healing process just give yourself a little more time.” Rajveer says when I go too quiet.
“Rajveer why can’t I forget him. Even after what he did to me? I hate him. I hate you Christian Grey.” I am losing my control even after two years his name has the same effect on me just the difference is now I get furious when I hear his name.
“Hey Ana forget it please, it just spilled out of your mouth. Let’s not ruin our mood and we should hurry or you will be late on the first day itself.” Rajveer knows how to calm me down.
After 15 minutes Rajveer drops me at the address.
“I don’t know why but this building looks familiar.” I tell Rajveer
“You must have seen it in the newspaper.”
“Ana don’t pressurize yourself so much. All the best. I will meet you at our favourite place after your work ok?”
“Yes we will.” He leaves and I turn towards the entrance. I have a weird sensation. I ignore it and enter the building.
This building is quite similar but I don’t remember how? I go up to the 30th floor and I am glad that the elevator is spacious otherwise I would have to use the stairs.
“Good morning you must be Anastasia Steele?” A blonde lady asks me
“Good morning, yes I am Anastasia Steele. Today is my first day.”
“Hi my name is Andrea Mr.Grey hasn’t arrived yet but he is due anytime.” She says by checking her watch but the only thing that got my attention in whole sentence was Mr.Grey! No it can’t be him. He has his company in New York. He has nothing to do here. Ana stop overthinking it is just a pure coincidence.
“Miss Steele are you okay?” Andrea says and I realise that I again lost my train of thoughts.
“Yes I am sorry I am listening.” I say apologetically. Ana concentrate!
“I will show you your office. This way please.” As we are about to leave, there is a ping of the elevator.
“Looks like Mr.Grey is here.” Andrea  says and we both turn around. I freeze on spot! No this can not happen. I am hallucinating again I guess. This can’t be true. I don’t believe my eyes. Christian Grey!
“Good morning Andrea.” He says to the girl standing next to me.
“Good morning sir. Sir she is Anastasia Steele and she is your new P.A.” that’s when Christian turns his attention towards me.
“Good morning Miss Steele.” with a big smile. I am still speechless and how is he be so calm after seeing me? Doesn’t my presence affect him at all?
“Good morning.” I finally got back my voice. We starring each other.
“Can I have you in my office now.” He says and turns to leave. “Andrea my coffee please, weak and black.” He adds without turning.
I am still frozen at my spot. What should I do? Should I go in? Do you have that much of guts Ana? You know you can’t face him! But wait why? I didn’t do anything wrong! He was the one who asked me to leave. Why should I be afraid? Yes I can do this I will go in and clearly tell him I am not gonna work here.
“Come in please.” He says when I knock on his door and a memory comes back in my mind. Our first meeting! No Ana no, Christian Grey’s chapter is over in your story. I will not let him knock on my door again. I enter and he looks up and gives me his mega-watt smile.
“Miss Steele please have a seat.” With his eyes he points to the chair in front.
“Christian I can’t do this. I can’t work for you I am sorry.” I turn to leave when he holds my hand and pulls me towards himself. Everything happens quite fast.
“Christian Wh-what are you do-doing?” my words betray me.
“I don’t think it is good to mix your professional and personal life Miss Steele.” He is too close and correctly aiming at my weak point.
“Christian leave me now.” I say sternly and for my surprise he does exactly what I ask him to, I take a few steps backward. If we talk I need distance.
“Miss Steele if you are forgetting let me remind you, you have signed a contract and you can’t quit before 2 months.” He is again aiming on my weak points. He knows every well that I always fulfill my word.
“Okay but just two months and then you please find a new P.A.” I say, again playing in his hands but this time I will not let him have the control of my life!
“We will see Miss Steele.” He smiles the one which can melt me in seconds. Oh I have missed his smile so much. No stop Ana!
“Would you like to go for a coffee Ana?” What? Did he just ask me for a coffee? Christian what is wrong with you?
“Actually I have work to do.” I say without showing any emotion.
“You haven’t started your work. I am sure you can have a coffee with me.” Christian please stop I wanted to say a no but once again I fell for his smile and said a Yes.
In the café we both are in our own thoughts. What are you doing here Ana? Why are you here? Specially with Christian after all these years!
“So how is Melo, Fifi and Jeren?” He asks eventually. So Christian grey remembers my friends.
“All are good Jeren is in London with Ferit. They are on their honeymoon. I mean you would know that.”
“Yes Ferit and Jeren of course.” He replies coolly.
“How is Serkan and Eda?” I ask
“Good, happy and working in New York.” If they are in New York why are you here? And if you are here why didn’t Eda inform me?
“How are you Ana?” he asks with a shine in his eyes.
“Fine.” I look anywhere but Christian’s face because I can’t lie to him.
“Are you sure?” He says as if he just read my mind.
“Why have you brought me here Christian? What do you want to hear that ‘Oh Christian I missed you, I have not moved on’ what tell me?” I regret my words as soon as they are out of my mouth I mean nothing was a I lie. I haven’t moved on and I have missed him but I try to be normal.
“Ana!?” He sounds hurt but I really don’t care right now.
“What Christian?” My voice rises
“Ana calm down.” He tries to calm me down.
“Christian it was a big mistake to come here.” Did I just say that?
“Ana you know what was my biggest mistake? To let you knock on my door and open that door for you!” I am astonished did he just say that falling in love with me was his biggest mistake!
I can’t take this. I get up, take my bag and before leaving I turn around.
“Good that you realised that Christian Grey. From tomorrow we will just have a professional relationship and that also just for 2 months.” I leave before I had a breakdown in front of him.
I message Rajveer to meet me at our place in half an hour.
Half an hour later I am waiting for Rajveer and exactly at 1:22 he enters the café.
“Ana what happened? What was the emergency?” he asks without sitting.
“R-a-j-veer” And I can’t control it anymore. My eyes release the tears that they have been holding back and I am sobbing really sobbing.
“Ana Ana Ana what happened? Why are you crying” Rajveer asks and pulls me in his bear hug.
“Ana please tell me what happened? You are making me worry now!”
“Rajveer..”
“Yes Ana tell me!” he encourages me to speak.
“I met Christian” Rajveer goes quite but speaks after a moment. “Where?” is all that he manages.
“My job. He his my boss.” He wipes my tears. “Ana tell me everything in details.” He says. I tell him everything.
“So he said it was his biggest mistake to fall in love with you?” I just nod, those words are a knife in my heart.
“I can’t believe him! Seriously! How could he say that! Look Ana he is an ass hole forget him. You just focus on completing your contract.” Rajveer is correct when I have already closed Christian’s chapter then why do I care what he says?
Rajveer and I talk for an hour and I am finally calm and I know what I have to do.
“Thank you Raj. I love you, you are the best.” I say because that’s true without Rajveer I wouldn’t not have made these two years.
“Oh ho Ana there is no need to thank me, I am always by your side.” And pulls me into a Rajveer special hug.
“So from tomorrow just a professional relationship.” He says
“Yes just a professional relationship that all.” I reply
“Let’s go and grab some lunch.” Rajveer says, I just nod.
We are dining in our favourite restaurant. We both are having our lovely time, when suddenly Rajveer goes quite. I turn to look what made him speechless and I see Christian standing there.
“Anastasia nice to meet you!” Christian says as he approaches the table.
“Christian? What are you doing here?” I ask because I don’t want him near me.
“The same thing like you! Having lunch.” He replies cooly.
He turns towards Rajveer and introduces himself, Rajveer does the same thing and they both shake hands.
“Why don’t you join us?” Rajveer says surprising me and by Christian’s looks it is clear he was surprised too.
Rest of the lunch was quiet and was a little awkward for me.
“Thanks for inviting me to join you guys and I apologize if I interrupted.” Christian says after dinner.
“No need for apologizing, we were just having a normal lunch.” Rajveer replies with a smile
“I am not sure Ana was fully comfortable with me being here.” Christian says and looks at me. Don’t provoke me Christian! I want to shout at him but I just give a smile. Instead Rajveer replies for me. “Actually, her other friends couldn’t make up that’s why she is this quite.”
Soon Rajveer and I leave in his car. Once home I ask Rajveer why did he invited Christian?
“Ana it was obvious you wanted him to join you. Ana anyone paying attention in that restaurant could tell how you both are madly in love with each other.”
I have no answer for Rajveer.
“Ana it is clear that none of you have moved on in your respective life’s. Ana talk to him, listen to his side of the story, ask him why had he left that note? Ana you have the right to know this.”
As soon as Rajveer completes his words I am transported to the room I was standing in 2 years back with the note Christian left for me and with my broken heart. Those words still haunt me. 
“You are right Rajveer I need answers, I have the right. Christian needs to tell me why he left without saying anything?”
Rajveer smiles and hugs me tightly. “Good that you understood, now just talk to him ok?” Rajveer says politely and I just nod. “I am off.”
“Rajveer, Thanks for everything.”
“O come on! That’s what good friends do.”
O god I am again late! I couldn’t sleep yesterday night, I was just tossing on the bed. Then the cab ran out of gas and now I am standing and waiting for a cab.
A big car pulls in front of me. When the widows roll down, it’s Christian inside.
“What are you doing here?” Christian asks. “What do you think?” I reply back. Christian narrows his eyes. “Waiting for a cab.” I say
“Come I will take you, I am going to office.” No way am I going with him.
“Ana?” he says. “No thanks I will manage.”
“You are still the same right? Stubborn?” he says. “What about you? You are still the same, bossy!” And we are staring at one another.
“Sit.” He says, he is not to be argued.
I sit next to him and pull the seat belt. We are in awkward silence. I want to speak to him I want to ask for answers but somehow I couldn’t speak.
We both are distracted by my mobile. It’s Rajveer. “I am sorry but I have to take this.” I say to Christian and pick up the call. I tell him everything that happened since morning.
“Hey it’s alright this is the time talking to him.” I agree and he continues “Dinner at my place if you and Christian don’t make plans.” He is laughing and I know I have a blush on my face, I hope Christian doesn’t notices it.
“Shut up Raj. I will confirm and I will call Melo.” And he says that’s done and I end the call.
When I look up we are waiting for the green light and Christian is staring at me.
“So you have moved on in your life?” What? Did he just ask? How can he think this? I want to shout NO to him but I behave.
“That’s none of your concern anymore Christian!” I reply.
“Anything you do concerns me Ana!” What? O god I will never understand this guy ever in my life. One moment he says he doesn’t care and next moment he says I still mean something to him.
“No Christian, you are no one to ask me anything. You lost that right two years back, when you asked me to…” I stop, this is not the place or the time to bring this topic.
The light turns green and Christian concentration goes back to the road. I still need answers, I want to know what happened that night.
“Christian!” “Ana!” we speak together, great things still have not changed between us. I wait for him to speak up.
“Ana I wanted to apologise for yesterday, I genuinely didn’t mean to say that.”
“It was in your mind that’s why it came on your tongue Christian.”
“No Ana! Trust me you were never a mistake rather you are the only best thing that as ever happened to me.” Christian Grey you make me speechless.
“ I want to talk Christian.” I make my point very clear.
“Ana there is nothing to talk about. Let’s leave the past in the past please.”
“ No Christian, I want answers and I want the truth, I deserve it Christian.” He is blank and I guess this might be the first time I saw him like this.
“Ok, you deserve it!” he says after a moment “You have become quite bold Ana I like it.” He adds and I blush from this comment.
The day just drags away, being Christian Grey’s P.A is not an easy job. I am get up to keep a few files in Christian’s office he is in a meeting.
I enter his office and keep the files on the desk. I give a look around his office and I shocked, he stills has my portrait on the wall? That’s when by mistake I drop the pen stand. I start picking up everything when the door opens.
“Thank you Celine as always it was wonderful.” Christian says to someone.
“O come on Christian, that’s my job and I have been doing it for the last two years.” The other voice says, it is very clear that it is a woman with whom Christian is talking.
“And it is always special with you.” The girl says. I am speechless, so Christian moved on? No my Christian can’t move on so easily all our moments? Our marriage? Did something ever mean to him?
“Celine thanks if you wouldn’t be there I don’t know what would have happened.” So Christian forgot me so easily.
“Christian come on, now shut up. I had my own reasons.” And enough I can’t hear more! I stand up and the girl’s smile vanishes seeing me there.
“What happened Celine?” Christian asks.
“Ana” replies the girl. So she knows about me great! Christian turns around and is surprised to see me there.
“Ana? What are you doing here?” Christian asks. “Ana answer me! What are you doing here? In my office and that too when I was not here?” he is almost shouting. I am speechless, whatever happened in last five minutes I still can’t process things.
“Anastasia I am asking you something!” Christian shouts and that made Celine jump but I am used to this Christian Grey and now I don't care about his tone. “Anastasia this is the last time I am asking you? What are you doing here?” How dare he? Does he think he still has the control of my life?
“Well Sir, I had came to keep some files in your office and to talk to you but I guess that’s not needed anymore! Looks like I got all my answers, I got everything I wanted to know.” My eyes pointing clearly towards Celine and I am shouting too. Christian understood what I was trying to say.
“Ana No! You are getting everything wrong.” Christian says and the girl is standing quite in shock.
“I have got nothing wrong Christian!”
“No Ana, please try to understand.” Christian is pleasing me but enough now I won’t melt away with his looks.
“I am leaving Chris- Sir. The files are on your desk if you get time please check them.” I turn and leave when Christian holds my hand and pulls me against him. We are too close and we have our connection and I have butterflies like always, I remember him pulling me like this and everytime he did this he gave me butterflies.
“Nobody gave you the permission to leave Miss Steel.”  But no this time Christian didn't pull me to prove our love and I know what is he trying to do but no no he always does this and I lose my control but not today.
“Mr. Grey leave me.” I say but he ignores me. “ I said leave me.” This might be the first time I said this to him and I mean it, I always tried to push him away but just so that he would pull be back towards himself but today I don't want to go towards him so I try to push him away but he is much more stronger than me.
“Christian leave her.” The girl says and for my surprise Christian leaves me. So now Christian has started listening to someone else and not me. Without saying a word I leave the office.
In the cab, I am lost in my own thoughts, thinking about all that happened in his office, the way he pulled me and the same way he dropped his hands but not on my saying. Why are you surprised Ana? Christian has moved on, you the only one waiting for him. You have no place in his life anymore! It is better you soon accept this fact!
After 20 mins I am at Rajveer’s house but I am not gonna tell him anything yet. I don’t want to pull Christian’s topic tonight at least. Rajveer opens the door and hugs me tightly.
“How was your day?” he asks with a hidden question but I don’t want to talk about Christian.
“Good really good” I say with a big smile.
“Yes! I have a surprise for you!” he says and I am successful in convincing him.
“What?” I ask
“Ana!” I hear Melo’s voice.
“Melo! How are you? I missed you dude!” I say while we hug.
“I am good, I missed you too and I am so happy for you!” she says and before I could ask her what she meant the door bell rings. Rajveer opens the door and it’s Christian. What? How can he be here? Shit! Rajveer and his surprise! Oh no he knows nothing about what happened in office today. Damn it Rajveer!
“Hi Christian! Thanks for joining us.” Rajveer says and I want to ripe him off.
“Thanks for having me!” Christian replies. Then he turns towards me and I know exactly what he is thinking of doing.
“Rajveer can I have a word with you please!” I say, Raj needs to know everything.
“Let’s talk after dinner Ana?”
“No Raj please now, it’s urgent.”
“Ana it’s ok you are staying here anyways, we have the whole night.” Rajveer I am going to kill you I swear! I nod and we all sit down for the dinner.
“I want the ketchup for the sausage” Melo says
“I will get it for you Melo.” I say and get up
A few moments later Christian enters the kitchen with his glass.
“You want something?” I ask
“Looks like you know this place well!? But ya I want some water.” I take the glass from his hand and move towards the fridge, when I turn around he his standing just behind me. I take a step back but I am stopped by the fridge. He comes close too close.
“Christian” I warn him
“What Ana?” He says in his flirty tone.
“Christian let me go.” I try to move but he pressed himself against me, his body against mine, I feel his breathing on my neck. I smell his scent omg how much I missed this. And I feel it, our spark the sensation which was always between us. I want him now like always. I missed him so much and nothing can deny that fact. I want his lips on mine lips and not just lips but everywhere and I want to forget everything that happened between us in these two years.
“Do you know how much I missed you Mrs. Grey?” he says and slides his nose on mine. Oh how much I missed hearing Mrs. Grey from his mouth. His lips are about to touch me when Rajveer calls out my name. “Ana!” and Christian drops his hands and moves aside.
We come back to the table and rest on the dinner all three of them are talking and I am just repeating everything that happened in kitchen. If Raj had not called me we could have kissed! Oh god why am I still affected by Christian? Why do I lose my control around him?
“Ana?” Rajveer bring me back to reality.
“Hmm Ya!” I am embarrassed
“I called you 3 times! Everything alright?” he asks and his concern is obvious.
“Ya I just, you know…” I stammer
“Christian ignore her she is like this!” Rajveer says mockingly.
“Ya ofcourse I know this and a lot more.” Christian replies and all eyes are on him. He starts laughing and both Melo and Rajveer join him.
After dinner Rajveer shows Christian around while Melo and I talk about my first day.
“That’s such a cute photo of Ana and you.” Christian says looking at one of the five pictures on the wall. Rajveer and I have a lot of pictures from our trip to Los Angeles which he forced me when Christian and I got divorced. After the trip he framed our 10 favourite photos. 5 are at his place and 5 at mine. The ones at Rajveer’s place are all of are cozy ones. One where we both our sitting around bonfire and that’s the one Christian commented on. At Rajveer’s place he also has a few of my soul pictures.
“Ya this is a Ana and my most favourite one.” Rajveer replies
Around 11pm Christian leaves and Rajveer send me to drop him and I know he wants some alone time with Melo so just for his sake I go.
While we wait for the guard to brings his car I start shivering because of the wind and his take out his jacket and keeps it on my shoulders. I am still thinking about all that happened in the kitchen, the way we were just about to kiss. His car comes and before getting inside he hugs me taking me by a surprise and something gets into me and I hug him back almost squeezing his bones out. His arms were my safest place. I look at him and we had it again our spark, our connection. His lips were about to touch me, my breath hitched I was so ready for him but we heard the gate open and moved away from each other. Damn! Second time in the same evening, what is wrong with you Ana? I return him his jacket and we saw Rajveer and Melo coming out. Rajveer hugged her and kissed her a goodbye kiss. Moments later Christian and Melo both left and Rajveer and I went back inside.
“Why did you invite Christian?” I ask
“What do you mean why? You both patched up right?”
“No Rajveer, you have no idea what happened in office today.” And I tell him everything that happened in Christian office and also what happened in kitchen. After I finish Rajveer starts laughing this was not a reaction I was expecting.
“Why are you laughing? You idiot?”
“Ana trust me this can just happen with you! I mean first you shout at him and then you were ready to kiss him and that too not once but twice!” he is still laughing.
"Ya all thanks to you for ruining both my moments." I said teasingly but somewhere I meant it.
“Now will you stop laughing?”
“Ya ya I am sorry but you guys are out of my understanding. Tell me one thing does Christian know about me?”
“I don’t know, I mean I never mentioned you and we came to Seattle after my divorce.”
“So my assumption are correct.”
“What assumptions?” I ask, sometimes what he says I don’t really understand.
“Christian thinks you have moved on.”
“What?”
“I don’t know if you noticed but he was very jealous because he thinks you have moved on and we are in a relationship. Maybe that was the reason he lost his control and came so close to you in the kitchen and outside.”
“Wait what? I don’t understand.”
“Of course you don’t! Sit I will explain you everything.”
“Ana you never mentioned to him that I am your best friend and nothing more. So he thinks I am your boyfriend, you remember we met him at the restaurant that time we were alone and then today morning when you were in his car I had called you and now these photos of us. Anyone will think we are in a relationship and  I don’t blame him.”
“Yes I guess you are right! He was even asking that have I moved on? Then when we were in kitchen he even called me Mrs. Grey!”
“What? He called you Mrs. Grey?” he is shocked.
“Ana I guess you definitely need to talk to him.” He looks concerned
“What happened Raj? You look worried?”
“Ana, Christian has not moved on.”
“Seriously Rajveer? You forgot what I saw in his office?”
“No Ana he has not moved on otherwise he would never call you Mrs. Grey!”
“Rajveer he must have just said it.” Of course Christian wasn’t serious about that.
“Ana please once talk to him and if you want I can call him right now.”
“No it’s ok I will talk to him tomorrow.”
Next day I was in his office discussing his schedule.
“Christian I want to talk.” I say after his schedule is discussed.
“Yes?”
“I want to talk about last night.”
“Shall we talk over dinner? My place? If you have no plans.” And I know he is referring to Rajveer.
“Ok dinner will be fine.” Before I could say something there is a knock on the door. It’s the girl from yesterday. I get up to leave when Christian says I need to wait.
“Celine come in please.” Christian says to that girl.
“Ana meet her she is Celine my childhood friend.” He introduces her. “And Celine you know her but still this is Anastasia.” We shake hands and I leave.
Christian follows me till the door and closes it once I am out. What the hell? He never did that! I want to know what's happening!? I go a little close to the door.
“Christian, I think you should tell Ana about our relation and everything that happened!” Celine says and I hear Christian saying a big “NO” in his tone the one after which you can’t argue with him.
“Ana is never gonna know about ‘us’ neither is she going to know about what happened!” Christian says in a stern voice.
“Then why did you invite her for the dinner?” Celine question backs
“Celine you know the reason I want Ana back and I will do anything for that except giving her those answers.” So Christian is giving me no answers tonight? I want the answers that’s the reason I agreed for this dinner. In my thoughts I don’t listen to their conversation. What is it that Christian can’t tell me? In this thought the rest of the day goes away.
I decided to wear Christian’s favorite dress. Exactly at 8pm I am his door, he opens it and greets me with a side hug.
“Come in Ana I was waiting for you. By the way you look beautiful.” he says warmly and a memory from past comes in my mind but I shut it down immediately, I don’t want to go down that road right now.
Christian still remembers all my favorites! We eat our food in complete silence but I break it as I couldn't take it anymore.
“Christian what had happened that night? Why did you ask me to leave? That too through a note?”
“Ana please let’s forget that night! I want you back Ana. These two years were miserable! I miss you, Ana!”
“Christian please I want answers! What had happened that you asked me to leave?”
“Ana I miss you isn’t that enough?” Now I am getting irritated. He asked me to leave and now he wants me back?
“I want to use to washroom” I get up and go towards our- his bedroom. Ana do not forget you are no more his wife! His room is unchanged, it still has my photos from our honeymoon, wedding and his random clicks. The room still has all the things that I had brought, it is still the same the way I decorated it. I look around towards the bed side table and there it is our wedding photo, me in his arms, our eyes locked! I am transported back to our wedding day.
“......Now I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.... Christian pulled me close and whispered, you look beautiful and now you are mine forever.......” I come back to the reality and like always I have tears in my eyes.
I keep the photo carefully back and I pick my phone and look at my lockscreen at Christian photo and  again ask him if you didn’t move on then why did you ask me to leave?
When I return to the living room he is on the phone and didn’t notice that I am there and I overhear his conversation.
“No Ana will never ever know about my brain clot; she will never know that I asked her to leave because my chances of living after the operation were only two percent and....” that’s when he turns around and realizes that I am standing there. I am shocked, breathing becomes difficult no impossible for me, I start breathing hard and I know I need my pump. Christian panics seeing that I am having difficulty in breath.
“Ana, Ana what’s happening?” he holds me before I fall and I ask him that I want my pump. He checks my purse but finds nothing.
“Lo-ok-s l-ik-e I fo-rg-ot it at of-fi-ce"
“Ana how can you be so careless?” we hear a ping of the elevator and it’s Rajveer.
“Ana, Ana no!” Rajveer shouts “I brought your pump!” he adds
“Thank god Rajveer you came on time I couldn’t understand what to do!” Christian says still in a little shock.
After five minutes I get normal and so does Christian and Rajveer. Everyone had a lot of questions in their mind. It is Raj who breaks the silence in the room.
“Ana what happened? You don’t get panic attacks easily! You forget what the doctor said these panic attacks are not good... have you forgot what had happen...” and I cut him in between Christian doesn’t needs to know what happened.
“Rajveer I am fine. It's just...” and I look at Christian. “I want to know everything and I mean it.”
“Ana please...” Christian says. “No Christian I want to know everything!” I am not gonna leave this topic. How could he hide such a big news from me?
“Christian what happened?” Rajveer asks
“Seriously Raj nothing major happened.” Before I could say anything, Rajveer says “If it was not something major Ana would never get a panic attack.” Cristian agrees to tell me everything.
“Ana, I asked you to leave because I had found out that I had a brain clot and I consulted many doctors and all told that operation is the only way to save me. The operation had a lot of effects, the doctor said that chances were very less that I would make it from the operation and even if I did chances were high that I could lose my memory.” I am crying and all that I manage to say is why didn’t he tell me?
“Ana, I knew if you got to know about this you would not leave my side and even if something happened to me you would never move on. I never wanted to be burden on you that’s why I left that note asking you to leave and then I sent you those divorce papers.” I lose my mind, I wanted to say so many things but couldn’t speak at all. I had so many emotions inside me. Who was he to take a decision on my behalf.
I got up and picked our photo from the table and threw it on the floor, then the vase and slowly all the things on the table were on the floor. There were just shattered pieces of things on floor. I was crying and Rajveer was trying to calm me down. As soon as picked the last photo frame from the table somehow, I got a cut in my hand and it started bleeding.
“Ana” Christian comes near to look at my hand but I snatch my hand.
“How could you do this Christian? Who gave you the right to decide on my behalf?” I shout and start hitting his chest.
“Ana calm down!” Rajveer pulls me away from Christian.
“Ana I couldn’t let you suffer because of me. You deserved the best and I couldn’t give you that. I could live with your anger but I couldn’t see you stressed because of me but when I came here and saw you I forgot everything all I wanted was you.” Christian tries to explain himself but I don’t care anymore.
“No one gave you the right to make a decision on my behalf Mr. Christian Grey.” I shout and Rajveer starts pulling me with clear intensions of taking me away from Christian, once we reach the elevator Rajveer tells Christian that he is taking me home, as it is I am in no state to talk or understand anything at the moment because of my anger. Before the elevator doors close I shout at Christian for the last time, “I hate you Christian Grey.”
In the car we are in complete silence. I am stilling thinking how could Christian do this to me?
“Ana” Rajveer says cautiously like he is talking to a wild animal and I look towards him.
“What Christian did was wrong but not completely. He wanted you to be happy!”
“Rajveer you are taking his side?” I ask quite surprised.
“I am taking no sides Ana. It's just put yourself in Christian’s shoes, you would have done the same thing.” and like always he makes me speechless. The whole night I kept on thinking what Christian said and did, what Rajveer told me!
Next day when I wake up, I realise I overslept. Damn! I get up and when I open my bedroom door I am stunned. The living room is decorated with red and white balloons and five big golden balloons making the word ‘SORRY’. I step a little further and see Christian and Rajveer near the kitchen and as soon as they see me, Christian goes down on his knee and pulls out my wedding ring which I had sent him with the divorce papers.
“Anastaisa I am so sorry for breaking your heart, making you cry, becoming the reason behind all your worries, when all I wanted was your happiness. I never realised how much important you are to me and how much it hurts when I see those tears in your pretty eyes until yesterday when you left me with those tears. Please forgive your Christian and give me another chance?”
“And again, you made me cry, now get up!” as soon as he gets up I hug him tightly like my life depends on this hug.
“I love you Christian Grey, you are my whole life you idiot and I am sorry too I shouldn’t have behaved so rudely yesterday.” We hug and forget that Rajveer is still in the room. A moment later Rajveer coughs and we both remember we have a company.
“If you guys want, I can give you some alone time?” he starts giggling
“Shut up Raj.” I say embarrassed.
“So finally, these love birds are together back and look at Ana, her blush has decided not to leave.” Rajveer and his comments.
“All this was possible because of you Rajveer the whole credit goes to you.” Christian says and I agree if it would not be Raj I could never be here.
“Oh, come on Christian! I did all this for Ana’s smile, after all she is my best friend and just best friend!” Rajveer replies.
“I love you Raj!” I give him a big hug. “Enough Ana. Go your ring is waiting for last two years, don’t make it wait anymore.” Rajveer whispers in my ear and I laugh and so does Christian that means he heard what Rajveer said. Christian puts the ring on my finger and hugs me. “I love you Mrs. Grey.” he says and I reply with a big smile, “I love you Mr. Grey.”
