I've always hated Christmas and that was the unfortunate next memory I recalled. Somehow, this was of course a few weeks later, when you had gotten more comfortable with me and vice versa. You were really starting to show your true colors to me and I liked that. Not to a point where it was love yet, but considerable enough.

Dream hosted a party at Nightmare's house and somehow you were invited. It was really cool, a week before, we had set up an event called a "Secret Santa", where everyone writes a small list of what they want and puts it in a bowl. Then, one at a time, we pick one person and have to buy one of the gifts on the list for them.

I had gotten one of Night's friends so it wasn't going to be too bad. If I had gotten Nightmare, I would have kept replaying the clip of him asking to sleep with me a few weeks ago. It was embarrassing and it still is to this day.

Anyways, at the entrance of the house, we put our gifts on the plastic table on the left. I was captivated by the amount of presents there were and counted up to around ten to fifteen... it was all a while back, how can I remember? I then turned around to see you out of all the people putting down your own giftware on it.

"Oh hey."

You seemed as shocked as I to see me. You opened a pocket on your pastel lavender colored hoodie to write back.

'What are you doing here? How do you know Nightmare?'

"Well, I'm friends with Dream who's his sister."

'Hm, that's why he drags that girl around.'

We noticed a few people going into the basement after Octomare whispered something to them. I decided to sum up some courage and talk to him.

"Hey, when are we going to do the gift exchange?"

"Oh hi, Cutie, you look quite ravishing today. We're playing spin the bottle in the basement so it's only reserved for 'grown ups'. Pussies stay up here."

Well, I didn't want to be a pussy so I ended up joining him as well as you when I spoke about it. You appeared to be excited to play a game with us. I also didn't understand why that stupid octopus thought I was attractive. I'm wearing a red turtleneck with tight black and blue shorts along with fishnet gloves and stockings, what's hot in that. Of course I was avoiding those stupid round glasses that you kept saying they looked nice on me.

We made our way down into the really clean basement. It was built as a big and wide room with three doors. One being a closet, another being a small bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink and the final one being an office that we weren't allowed to go into no matter what. In the main room was a huge L shaped couch with a coffee table, a carpet where the game was supposed to be on, a flat screen TV suspended onto the wall and a small modern fireplace.

"Okay everyone, people that want to play, congrats on not being little weaklings. Hope y'all already had your first kisses!"

The brother of the host spoke up. I've never kissed anyone so this would be totally new for me.

"Every single one of us will have eight rounds so in total, it'll be a long game of around eighty rounds if no one chickens out. We'll go clockwise, one at the time completing one of their eight rounds. If you pick someone once, you have to kiss them but if it's twice... the same thing but with tongues of course!"

Someone shouted.

"What about three times?"

"Well, you'll just have to spin again, we aren't going to go too far."

Most of us were boys so that would be hypothetically better for you. We got settled up and sat diagonally of each other, being able to stare at each other from across the circle of people.

"I'll start."

Nightmare said as he spun that thing. It almost landed on me already but luckily, the girl beside me had to deal with Night's kiss. He's a good kisser too (apparently) so I don't want to be a victim of that, especially since the incident I keep bringing up. He maintained eye contact with me which made me uncomfortable then removed himself from the kiss, kept glaring at me and sat back at his spot. You smiled from across the basement, looking like you were laughing but I couldn't hear anything. Why do I keep forgetting everything?

Next were a few of his friends who ended up avoiding us both, what a good thing. When the time came, I spun the empty wine bottle and awaited the chances of it being literally anyone else but Nightmare. At the time, I would be more than glad if it was you. I don't remember who the first one landed on but it was a girl that I pecked with a small kiss, I didn't really like the feeling of her.

At the end of the circle was you, who took a while before spinning that thing and landing directly on yourself. You then grabbed your arm and kissed it before Nightmare spoke up.

"Hey, that's unfair! I'll leave you a free turn but next time, you'll have to re-spin."

You smiled maliciously at him and then turned back to face the group. I put the links together and figured you spun it so it could land on yourself. A few more rounds were painful for both of us as we kissed a few more people, luckily once. I ended up kissing that octopus but it was fine since at least it was only one time. Eventually, the last round came and it was you. You closed your eyes, grabbed the bottle and spun it very quickly.

When it slowed down, you re-opened them, you looked down to see that it was perfectly aligned up to me. I didn't know how I felt about kissing you but you didn't wait and approached me a little. You sat right in front of me and seemed nervous, everyone else looking at us. I started doing the same, being anxious as you grabbed my shoulder and jumped onto me, planting a small kiss on my cheek and making it seem as if we actually kissed. Then you got up, wrote something on a piece of paper and passed it to Nightmare before going upstairs.

To my side, I was completely flustered and shocked, it felt different and energising. From that second I knew it was love.
