So, You Want to Make an OC ?

Backstory

Before you even begin to design , you need the OC's backstory . Try asking yourself these questions to come up with a backstory:
Where did they come from ?
How did they get like that ?
Do they have any relatives ?
How old are they ?
Has anything bad ever happened to them ?
Has anything good ever happened to them ?
String the answers to these questions together to create a believable backstory . Remember , get creative with it ! BE ORIGINAL . It's always okay to add some odd things , but keep it within the reaches and rules of your world. If my OC came from the heavens , but my world is just a normal earthen world , that wouldn't make much sense. It's important to keep them realistic to avoid them becoming a Mary Sue / Gary Stu .
