Jason's pov + 3rd person ( don't worry there will be a different pov soon :,) )

Jason was confused on how this woman just completed disappeared not like he cared or anything but he needed to make sure what creature took that girl, it couldn't of just been the darkness she was completed just been pulled away. Jason walked slowly around to protect Nick and Merwin keeping his gun aimed. "Clarice?" Jason yelled tilting his head he eventually squinted his eyes trying to see if he could see at least a glance of the female but no luck. That's when a loud shriek filled the room making the ground slightly shake. Me and Nick pushed our backs together searching every part of the room with their eyes no creature in sight. "The fuck was that?" Merwin groaned out lifting his head up. I didn't take any chances this thing could be dangerous. "Move now!" I yelled grabbing a hold of one of Merwin's arms, Nick quickly grabbed his other arm and dragging him "What happened to her?.." Nick asked a hint of sadness there. "Just Go!" I shook my heard pulling Merwin as far as away as possible. I turned my head to look back. "The fuck is out there?" I started to panic, one soldier down.. she wasn't really a soldier but she was in our team. There was no chance she is still alive right? "I don't know and I ain't trying to find out. Let's move!" Nick aimed his gun lingering his finger on the trigger. I was trying to pull Merwin feeling a heavier weight hit my hands due to the moron dropping him all to me. He eventually grabbed his arm again, I couldn't help but scoff but I brushed past it. Me and Nick pulled the injured man more towards the dark, every inch of the blackness swallowing us up till none of us was seen all that was left of us was a blood trail thick but also a strong smell.

More than enough minutes went by of Merwin screaming in agony as Nick could not eyeing him. I only kept my eyes to the darkness "Fuck. Fuck! He's bleeding out, we gotta take care of this!" I nodded at Nick's statement and we both laid Merwin against the wall for support. Nick stated to press against Merwin's stomach try to stop the bleeding. He remembered the firs aid training. I suppose he really is ready for this.  "How is it?" Merwin asked Nick. after that I didn't look at them. I was more focused on surviving and killing whatever beast was lurking the Shadows before it kills us. I still was listening in their conversation making sure to help if needed. "You want the good version or the bad version?" Nick asked smiling. Of course the good version was just going to be as bad as the bad version. There will never be a good version this situation was so fucked.  "Just give it to me straight!" Merwin angrily looked at the bucket wearing Marine. What a complete Soldier. Only wanting the truth even if it is bad. "Not gonna lie man, it's pretty fucking bad" Nick breathed in and out so he couldn't lose his own mind. I decided to butt in "Whatever's out there, he's drawing them down on us!" I exclaimed backing up slowly keeping the gun closet thing to me. "He won't hold still! Get the morphine in him!" Nick stared at me giving me orders, I of course followed I could at least help this helpless man. I got the morphine out of my pocket "Ease off, man! You're fucking killing him!" I yelled and spat at him. I took of the cap and stabbed it in the man in  the leg. "I need with me, Nick" I stared right at him. He was so distracted. I started to bandage the man's wounds and nick kept covering his mouth.  "Nick your choking him!" I stared at nick hoping he let him go but he didn't I removed nick's hands. but no luck... Merwin was already dead. Great nick you killed one of our own men! what was he thinking we could of saved him. That's when we heard noises in the background I picked up my gun and aimed in every direction it was like they were everywhere! "Move out" I commanded the Marine to start moving before we would end up dead as well. I felt bad for Merwin.. We had to leave him behind. Rest In Piece My Brother.

Sand and dust was falling from the edges of bricks and flooring, the sun beaming through the ceiling making shadows appear at different random spots in the room. The Iraqi coughing from the sand inhaling up his nostrils and entering in his mouth. He instantly started to look around his surroundings, he was scared. He was alone. Confused and puzzled. He hesitantly reached for his radio and grabbing it, sounding it on. "This is Lieutenant Salim Othman to all units. Please respond with your locations over" He stuttered nearly every word.
