As Ultra called the guards they saw the Demon Blade, held tightly in her hand
“Yes. I took the Demon Blade….But only to protect this kingdom.” She explained to them, one of the guards stepped forward
“If you believe the Blade will help protect the kingdom, then we trust you,” he said, the other guards nodded and Ultra smiled, as the siege of Galaxians came, the guards stood behind Ultra as she gripped the Demon Blade in both hands, she felt the power course through her as she closed her eyes and focused on what she wanted the blade to do. Ultra let out a long, slow breath and opened her eyes, slamming the blade into the ground, a wave erupted from it and as it went over the Galaxians they fell to the ground, upon them standing they were normal Steve’s, Ultra felt the Darkness leave her and upon looking at her arms, they looked like the arms of a Demon Steve, she used her powers to make them look normal, she didn’t want the leaders to know, as Ultra sheathed the Demon Blade the guards ran to the Steve’s to see if they were okay, Ultra turned to Sabre and he had a smile on his face,
“Is Shade still there, love?” He asked and Ultra looked around, her eyes softened as they landed on her shadow counterpart leaning on a tree
“She is….” Ultra said, Shade smiled at Ultra and walked over,
“Didn’t think you’d get rid of me the easily, did you?” Shade asked, Ultra chuckled
“No, Shade. No, I did not.” She replied, Sabre went to hug Ultra, but the closer Sabre was to Ultra, the weaker she got, Sabre didn’t realize until Ultra spread her wings to stop Sabre from getting any closer to her, Sabre blinked under his blindfold,
“Ultra?” He asked, “Are you okay?” Ultra shook her head
“Y-You’re Darkness….” She said, breaking into a coughing fit before saying “I-I gave up my Darkness….” She said, Sabre was confused until two Demon Steve’s appeared in between him and Ultra, they growled at him, they knew she was their queen, and that she was weak, Sabre backed away
“What has he done to you, your majesty?” One asked, looking at Ultra, she stood up straight
“Nothing. He just didn’t know…” She said, “You may go.” She told them, they nodded and went back to the World Below, however, the leaders saw the Demon Steve’s listen to Ultra, the Red leader, M, walked over
“Ultra…” He said and Ultra turned to face him, her brows arched in worry,
“Yes, M….?” She asked
“We all saw those Demon Steve’s….And how they listened to you…” M said, Ultra sighed and nodded
“Right….I guess it’s time to explain. Can you call an assembly?” She asked and M nodded, going off to gather the Steve’s, Ultra called two Demon Steve’s and they followed her to the citadel, she told them to be invisible until she told them, she saw how many Steve’s showed up for the assembly, she stood at the front,
“As many of you may have seen…” She started as she drew the Demon Blade from her sheath “I used the Demon Blade to cure the Galaxians. But in turn, I gave up my Darkness,” Ultra continued, Sabre kept a distance from her as to not make her weak “But I have control over….Well, I think it’s better if I just show you. They will not harm you under my watch.” She said, she looked to her right and nodded, the two Demon Steve’s showed themselves and looked at Ultra
“Your Majesty, what now?” One of them asked, Ultra blinked
“Well, can you return to the world below and….Look for someone for me?” She asked, the Demon Steve’s nodded
“Who are we looking for?” One asked
“He was a Red Steve….His name is Colle.” She told them, the other one, who had stayed quiet the whole time, tilted his head,
“What is it you needed….Ultra?” he asked, stepping forward, Ultra blinked, she instantly recognized the voice, and scoffed
“Well then. Colle.” She said, then looked to the Blue Leader
“Can you go get….Uhhh what’re their names?” Ultra asked and Colle laughed
“Beef and Sharp?” He asked and Ultra nodded
“Yeah, them. Could you go get them, Blue leader?” She asked and the Blue Steve leader nodded, teleporting away to the World Beyond.
