Picture Perfect.
it's February and It's cold outside. the snow falls slowly out of the dark, cloud filled sky. I watch it from my window. It's quiet in this house, quiet as ever.
"Yuri, are you okay?" a voice suddenly says, breaking the silence.
"Hm?" I turn around and there he was, standing there in front of me. his shoulders are broad and his face is so perfect. he has darling eyes that, at the moment, look concerned.
"Are you alright? you look troubled." He says, buttoning up his shirt.
"Oh. I'm-I'm okay Seokjin..." I say softly and turn back to the window. He looks at me and smiles softly. he sighs and decides to sit next to me on the sun bed in the window seal.
"You're definitely not, I know that face. What's wrong?" he asks caressing my hand in his, making me look away from the falling snow and into his eyes.
"I promise nothing's wrong Jin, it's just...." I turn away and don't complete my sentence. he tries to look me in the eyes.
"Is it about what happened yesterday? with my parents?" He asks. I hesitantly nod my head. he sighs out, almost in relief like he was expecting me to say something else. Something that he doesn't want to hear.
"Well, don't worry about them Yuri. I'm sure they didn't mean it," he says, his voice more lighthearted.
"I mean, we are going to be, married in two weeks, so of course my parents will be a little hard on you. they just want everything to be perfect." He says, sounding amused. I sigh and look at him. my face is weary but I still smile that fake, picture perfect smile.
"Perfect like us?" I ask. he grins and replies
"Yes, perfect like us." He then gets up and guides me to my feet.
