*Cypress's POV*

*Time Skip the day of the Job*

I woke up got dressed and started getting what little weapons I had together. Ekko woke up around the same time knowing I wake up early on job days. He looked at me. 

Just from a the look on his face I knew he wanted so badly to go. "No." I said with a cold face. "CJ! Why not?" He asked thinking this was so unfair. 

 "Because, this isn't just a robbery for some petty money in the Zaun Ekko! We're going topside. We could get caught by enforcers and I'm not letting you get hurt." I said as his head dropped in disappointment. 

"But it's just the edge of topside how bad could it be?" He asked trying to convince me to let him go. "Ekko I said no. Drop it. You're staying at Benzo's shop until we get back alright?" I asked as he nodded sadly. 

"Listen little dude, you know I love you. You need to stay here so that I know you're safe. You're not ready yet okay?" I reasoned with a gentle tone of voice. He nodded and hugged me tight before I left to go to Vander's place. 

"Hey Pinky." I said with a smirk ruffling her hair seeing as I was around three inches taller than her. "Stop it Angel face." She said laughing a bit. "You ready?" She asked. "As always." I replied with a smirk. 

We made our way to the family room before Vi started making her announcement, "Alright guys we have a mission. We're all going so get ready." 

My mind filled with confusion as she ended her sentence she was really letting Powder go? I pulled her aside so I could ask her to make sense of all of this. 

"Vi are you sure you want to let Powder go on this one?" I asked. "I think she's ready for it." She stated. 

"Alright I'm not going to stop you, but this one could go wrong really fast if something happens up there-" I said before she cut me off. "Relax CJ nothing's going to happen, one of us will be stuck to her side the entire time." She reassured to which I nodded ending the conversation. 

I looked out of the corner of my eye to see Powder bubbling with excitement. I shrugged it off and helped the others get ready to leave. 

After a few minutes we were now scaling buildings and making our way to topsides, City of Progress. Piltover. 

"We're almost there!" Vi shouted at us as she made it to the top of the building. I was behind her, Powder following behind me, Clogger following behind her, and Mylo following behind him. 

Once Vi had made it to the top she shouted again for Powder to come take a look at the view. "Woah.." Powder said in amazement as she looked at the city below her. "It's nice getting above it all huh?" I asked her with a smile. 

Clogger and Mylo followed behind shortly after before a huge blimp flew over our heads. "One day I'm going to ride in one of those things." Powder spoke looking at this fancy blimp in admiration. 

"One day I'm gonna shoot one of em down!" Mylo responded before Vi shoved him out of the way. "Vi are you sure about this?" Clogger asked before continuing, "If we get caught-" 

"We're not going to get caught." she reassured him as we jumped on to the railing of the building and walked to the next. "We'll be in and out before anyone notices." She stated as we kept going trying to get to this dudes apartment building. 

We found ourselves on top of a hotel. Vi located where we would need to jump to next before she said, "Alright everybody follow me.. just don't look down." 

She then slid down the roof of the building and climbed onto the awning of a huge balcony. She used that leverage to jump to the next building and watched as I followed after her. 

Mylo and Clogger followed after before Clogger asked, "Couldn't we have at least just walked there?" I responded with, "Nope we gotta stay out of sight for this one."

 All four of us were on the next building together leaving Powder to jump by herself. I mentally scolded myself. I knew I should've jumped with her. I saw her look at the space between the two buildings with those big grey eyes of hers.

"Called it." Mylo said as she froze up. "This one's on you Vi." He continued. "Would you just shut up Monkey brain?" I asked knowing that's not what Powder needed to hear right then and there. 

"I'll get her." Clogger said with a sigh before Vi stopped him. "No! Powder look at me." She said looking up at her little sister. "What did I tell you? What did I tell you before we left?" She asked. 

"That.. I'm ready." Powder said with confidence as she took a deep breath in and let it out. "That's right, so?" Vi question as Powder got ready to jump. 

She followed the motions that each of us had taken but when she landed on the next building she stumbled. I grabbed her arm before she could fall with a smile and she thanked me. 

We started walking up the side of the roof and I watched as Mylo sighed and rolled his eyes at Powder as he was annoyed with her. I turned around and smacked him on the back side of the head. 

"That's better than you did at her age monkey brain."  I said bitterly before continuing on. I could tell that Clogger was still nervous and unsure about this as he asked Vi, "What if Vander finds out we're up here?" 

She responded with "Look around you. You think anyone topside's going hungry? Besides this is exactly the sort of job Vander would've pulled when he was our age." 

I turned to Clogger and said, "She's right, Vander's not here right now, we won't get caught we'll be in and out nothing to worry about glasses. Just a quick job to get valuables." I said with a smile. 

That seemed to have lifted a weight off of his shoulders as he relaxed a bit and we got closer to the building. "Cypress and I are going. Are you with us or not?" She asked.

 Clogger and Mylo shrugged before stating that Vander was going to kill us. "Yeah only if we screw up." I said before Vi continued, "So don't screw up." Then we both hopped onto the dudes balcony. 

Once the coast was clear Mylo jumped down and started picking the lock. Clogger helped Powder down and I soon realized Mylo was taking too long, so I just kicked the door open, grabbed a bag and started looking for valuables.
