Pt 8: 3 months of hell

Sakusa's POV:

Time skip~ 1 week

It's been a week since the start of Training camp and I've been seeing petals in my bed when I wake up. The petals keep multiplying every time I sleep. 

At 1st: 1 yellow Petal

At 2nd: 2 yellow Petals

At 3rd: 4 yellow Petals

At 4th: 8 yellow Petals

And the list goes on...

Something is wrong... I don't know what but something is

Time skip~ 3 weeks

It's been 3 weeks since the start of Training camp and the yellow petals still keep multiplying but this time... They have blood

Something is definitely wrong now... but what is it? And where are these coming from?

Time skip~ 1 month

It's been a month and the flowers are multiplying still, but this time, they are flowers, not petals. My throat also hurts every time I wake up..

What's happening? Why does my throat hurt? Why are there flowers instead of petals now?

Time skip~ 2 months 

It's been 2 months and the cycle keeps going and now, I cough randomly and it gets worse everyday

What's happening to me?!?

Time skip~ 1 week later (2 months & 1 week)

I'm tired of the throat ache everyday... I'm tired of the coughing... I'm tired of the petals and flowers... So, I searched online on what it could be and to my luck, It was something bad..

'Hanahaki (花吐き病)'

where the victim of unrequited or one-sided love begins to vomit or cough up the petals and flowers of a flowering plant growing in their lungs, which will eventually grow large enough to render breathing impossible if left.

What?... Why is this happening to me?.. Why me?

Time skip~ 1 week later (2 months & 2 weeks/half a month)

It's been a week since I found out about my condition and it's getting worse.. now, I cough blood randomly..

If you're asking what I'm doing while I have this.. I'm simply gonna do nothing.. I'm not gonna tell anyone. Not Komori, Not any doctor, and especially, Not Atsumu.

Time skip~ 1 week later (2 months & 3 weeks)

My breathing started to worsen and I can't do that much volleyball practice. I asked my coach if I can have no practice next week. And luckily, he agreed

"Hey coach?" "Hm? Yes Sakusa? Do you need anything?" "I was just wondering if I could not have any volleyball next week?" "Hm.. Do you have any reason?" "Nothing, I just don't feel well" "Hm.. Alright. You have been coughing a lot lately, so I'll allow it" "Thanks coach"

Time skip~ 3 months

My lungs hurt and petals keep on falling but some how I can hold it for a few minutes... And you know? That's good..

I told Atsumu to meet me at the entrance of the gym at 10pm to tell him something... And yes, I'm gonna confess but not in a way I would've wanted it to be... 

I have to tell him even if he won't give it back... I have to tell him because I know I'm dying tonight... My lungs hurt, the petals are now flowers that have stems, I can't breathe that much, My body hurts when I stand up or even move a little, and I can't even eat like I used to... 

I have to tell him... even if it will hurt more than this disease...
