Already a Fitz Vacker song
This song is the reason I don't hate Fitz. Sure, he has to learn how to manage his emotions(which, honestly, while we're at it, Sophie and Keefe need to learn how to do too) But he actually doesn't have anger issues. I'm pretty sure I heard this from
CrazyforBandC 's kotlc rant book, but the definition is that you get really mad at petty things.
The stuff Fitz has to deal with isn't petty. His father's mind broke. His brother was a murderer.
And let's be honest, Fitz has a specific mindset. He's actually really stubborn; when he makes a decision, it's final. He decided Alvar was to be stopped at any cost. But these guys grew up together. It's obvious he would have internal conflict. That's the reason Biana and Sophie were able to convince him to stop. After the entire thing with the troll hives, Well Alvar had a second chance.
And he didn't take it. That was why he really was justified for most of his behavior. The main love triangle, well, none of them have healthy outlets.
now, moving on from the mini-rant, this song also made me sort of pity Alvar. He really had been misguided.
Also, I keep forgetting, is Alvar really dead?
