Disclaimer: I don't know who was in Louis' band, I did a lot of research, but I couldn't find it. I also don't know when exactly White Eskimo or The Rogue broke up, so I think I'm just going to make something up. If you know, feel free to message me and I can edit it to be more accurate. Thanks, loves!<3

P.S. the art isn't mine, I found it on Google haha

P.P.S. just imagine video calls existed in 2010 lmao

Over the next few months, Louis and I became really close. The only thing was, he lived in Doncaster. And I lived in Holmes Chapel. We lived almost 2 hours away from each other. But we made it work.

1 weekend I would go to Doncaster, and the next, he would come to to Holmes Chapel. And for the week in between, we called and texted each other everyday. But it wasn't the same. I couldn't hold his hand, or wrap my arms around his waist, or kiss him. But we didn't care.

When we video chatted, I could still see his eyes. His beautiful, vibrant, ocean blue eyes. Everyday when I woke up, I thought, "Yes! I get to talk to Louis!" And every night before I went to bed, I would call him and we would just sit there, staring into each others eyes. Or talking about our days. Or just saying little nothings that wouldn't mean anything to anyone else, but when he said them to me, my heart fluttered.

I also found out that he has his own band, The Rogue. He was competing in the battle of the bands too, and I just didn't know it. Usually when I went over to Doncaster, we would spend a lot of time with them.

One day, I got a call from Louis during lunch at school. We normally don't call until after school, so I was confused, but happy because anytime talking with Louis was amazing. But when I answered, he was crying, and he could barely talk. I ran outside behind the school, so we could talk without people staring.

"Harry," he sobbed. "Something happened."

"Lou, what's wrong? What happened?" Tears streamed down his face, and his eyes were puffy and red. I was worried, and scared he was hurt.

"Hazza... the band... they kicked me out." He sobbed even louder, and my heart ached to go to Doncaster and be there for him.

"Oh, Louis... I'm so sorry, baby... what happened?"

"There's this new kid at school. He has a really great voice, so they kicked me out and let him take my place," he stuttered.

Anger raged inside me, like a fire. Were they crazy?! Louis was so talented, and he deserved to be a part of that band! I wanted to hurt them, and make them pay for making my Louis hurt like that. But I knew that wouldn't help him. What he needed was someone to comfort him, and that's what I was going to do.

"Louis, I'm so sorry... but don't say that. You have a beautiful voice. I've heard you sing, you're amazing. And I've seen the songs you write, you have so much talent! It'll be okay, love, I promise." Fuck, I wish I could have been there for him... but it was Thursday, and I still had school Friday. He sniffed and gave me a sad smile.

"You really think so, Haz?" He looks at me with a glint of hope in his eyes.

"Of course I do, baby. And I'll always be here if you need anything, I'm right here, okay? I'll always be here for you." He grinned sheepishly, his cheeks tinted a light pink.
