"Beatrice, stop na. Lasing ka na..." naaawang ani Stella.

I laughed ridiculously. "Not yet! I still want to drink pa. Please, Stella?" I tried to grab the alcohol from her.

Bumuntong hininga siya at inabot 'yon sa akin. All of our cousins were busy so I'm with Stella right now. She's the only one I could invite right now!

I laughed.

"Seriously, Beatrice, ano bang trip mo sa buhay? Broken ka ba?"

"Stella... I really love him..." I sobbed. "But I guess this time is not for us. Maybe someday..." uminom ako ng alak. "Maybe someday we'll be able to come back into each other's arms again."

Stella scoffed. "Hindi totoo ang mga comeback comeback, sis. Kung mahal mo, ipaglaban mo na. Huwag ka nang magpasusunod-sunod pa." Tumingin siya sa malayo. "Kapag mahal mo, ipaglaban mo."

The smile on my lips immediately faded upon leaving her. Malapit na kasi ako sa opisina ni Maverick. Napasandal nalang ako sa pintuan niya, iniisip kung papasok na ba ako.
