Luna was in her holding cell trying to hide herself from the world. It was pointless to think that things will turn around for her and the others since....the incident occurred hours ago. She was also sharing the room with Luan who wasn't trying to make a joke. It seems like they were the only two who knew how bad things could get besides their mother and older sister of course. Both Lynn's were in a state of denial and had hopes for some sense of mercy from their peers.

"Luna? Are you awake?" Luan said snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Yeah." Luna said. Luan probably wouldn't want to have a full conversation due to the fact that they were close to other cells and were on constant surveillance. It was their first time being in here and they were sure that it was the others as well.

"Do you think that the others are okay?" Luan asked. Luna paused for a second before answering her sister.

"I'm sure that they're fine. It may be a little nerve wrecking for a while, but things will work out as long as we stay on everyone's good sides." Luna answered with honesty. She knew what would happen if they try anything (due to watching multiple prison shows and movies that show how things could turn at any moment).

"Sigh...That may be impossible for some of the others though." Luan stated.

"I'm worried about them too. Don't get me wrong...I still love them, but even I admit that some of them may act out if things don't get their way." Luna said.

"Sigh...D..Do you think that the judge will show some mercy?" Luan said. Luna didn't say anything and just nodded while hugging her sister closer. This was the last place the both of them wanted to be and thanks to their actions....this may very well be their new home for the next couple of years. Luna thought about the others and wondered how they were reacting to it. Unaware that at the same time.....

Lana was sitting on the bottom bunk with her younger sister, Lisa. They were trying to think of ways to someone get into the judge's good graces, but were constantly being interrupted by the screams and shouts of Lola who was taken to a room that was pretty isolated from everyone else.

"Ugh. I can't concentrate with all of this screaming and crying?" Lisa said with frustration.

"You're just lucky that you didn't have to share a room with her. Lola always did this when things didn't go her way and will never stop unless someone caves." Lana said knowing full well what was going to happen next to her sister.

"But that will never work here." Lisa said with a confused expression on her face.

"Exactly which means soon they will have to restrain and gag her in order to make her stop. Besides we have more pressing matters to think of since I know that some of the others will never take responsibility for their own actions." Lana said.

"Agreed. I can see if I can convince the prosecutor if we can cut some kind of deal, but I know that most of the others won't take it. They will continue to fight despite everyone's awareness that we won't win." Lisa stated brutally.

"What is going to happen to them if they don't take the deal?" Lana said.

"Unfortunately, they will face higher penalties and the risk of a life sentence. Before you say anything, we intentionally left Lincoln outside in the cold and basically treated him like some animal. Which means that we stand accused of first or second decree of murder depending on what we did during this time and child abuse. Plus multiple other charges that may come if they find out more things that we did before hand." Lisa states. Lana could feel her blood run cold at the harsh reality that they were all facing. If they wanted to get a shed of mercy....they needed to make a deal. Only problem is....

How many of them won't be stupid enough to agree with the deal?

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
