The Witch Wife

Part 11: Confused

Lincoln slowly started to open his eyes after a good night's rest. Wait, didn't he die? Lincoln shot up from the bed and wondered how he was alive? He clearly died in the cold back then so how was he here?

"How is this..." Lincoln began to say before the door opened and he saw Isabella. 

"I see that you're awake." Isabella said. 

"But I died in the cold, didn't I? So why am I...." Lincoln asked.

"I managed to save your soul from your body. Sure, it took some time to transfer your soul to another one, but I managed to do so easily." Isabella said.

"That doesn't make much sense." Lincoln said after a few minutes of silence.

"Sigh....I expected this since you don't seem like the type of believe that the supernatural exist." Isabella said.

"Well, after getting help from a witch while freezing to death...it seems like I do believe now. I swear that Lucy will have a field day knowing that someone followed in her footsteps. Speaking of which...." Lincoln said before trailing off near the end. If he was here? Then what happened to Lucy, Leni and Lily? They couldn't still be with the rest of the Louds...could they?

"Before you ask, I did manage to take your sisters to my home. We had an interesting discussion before I transformed them." Isabella said.

"Transform...What does that mean?" Lincoln asked.

"Just look at the mirror and you'll see what I mean." Isabella said. Lincoln slowly moved out of the bed and looked towards a mirror. He had changed into handsome man with fox ears and some tails. Not like it really mattered to him since this would be a chance to start over. Besides it's not like his old family regrets their previous actions and want to make amends with him.

"I can't believe that I got transformed into a...." Lincoln started to say before Isabella interrupted.

"Kitsune." Isabella said.

"Right....so what happens now? I already know that we're not going back to that hell hole or anywhere near or in Royal Woods. So...." Lincoln said before Isabella set the tray of food down near him.

"Eat first then we can talk more about what happens next. Just know that you're safe here." Isabella said. Lincoln sighed and started to eat while his sisters were down stairs staring at the TV. 

"Sigh...I see that the other's actions have caught up to them all." Lucy said. The sisters have somehow managed to access the news from Royal Woods and saw their family in handcuffs. 

"If they regret anything....it's too little too late to do anything. Besides even if they could apologize, Lincoln will never accept it." Leni said.

"Speaking of which, When are we going to reintroduce ourselves to Lincoln?" Lucy asked.

"Soon. Then we can try to make him fall for all three of us and any other women that falls in love with him." Leni said.

"Alright. I just hope that we won't cross paths with the others." Lucy said. Leni nodded and just continued eating. Things will be fine. 

They will never cross paths with the Louds again. Too bad fate had other plans.
