"Mina, are you still mad?" Mrs. Myoui glanced at her daughter through the rear-view mirror worriedly. "We're sorry. We just need to move in with your father. We can't leave him alone."

The young girl closed her eyes and sighed. There was no point in arguing anymore, they had already moved out. She was already on the way to her new school, and she was about to start her new life. She wasn't the type to waste her energy in arguments.

"I understand, Mom."

They arrived at her new school—a prestigious only-girls school that only the daughters of a wealthy family could afford. It was huge, and obviously for wealthy people. Of course, this was where her parents would enroll her.

"It's hard to adjust, but you'll get used to it, okay? I'm always here when something goes wrong."

It wasn't really fair to get mad at her parents when all that they were thinking was what was best for her and their businesses. Her parents had always been there for her to support her in all other endeavors, and this was the only thing they asked for her.

"Thanks, Mom. I'll see you later."

Mrs. Myoui smiled and kissed her daughter's cheek. "Thank you for understanding, Mina."

Mina timidly smiled and watched her mother take off, leaving her completely in a new environment that she didn't have any idea how to approach.

Students were also getting in, talking to each other as they already seemed to have known each other. Mina was ready to be an outcast.

She heaved a sigh and walked in with a pounding heart but she still appeared calm and composed. A lot of girls were actually looking at her, admiring how elegant she walked, and her beautiful face.

"Who is she? She can certainly be in Angels Squad."

"She's so pretty, oh my god!"

"I think Nayeon sunbaenim will have another target."

"As if President Dahyun will allow that."

The bell rang, and the students rushed into their classrooms while Mina remained frozen outside. She had no idea where her room was! All that was written on her registration was H-11. Where the hell was that!?

"Yah, yah! Senior student! Why are you still outside? Go to your room! I'm sacrificing my time to let your studies straight, and here you are attempting to cut classes? What section are you, I'm going to write you on my penalty list."

Mina was surprised, or was this what they call culture shock? A girl called out her attention and walked to her while scolding her with that cute angry expression.

The first thing that Mina noticed was that she had white-as-snow skin that when hit by the sun, was glowing. She also had long beautiful black hair, almost like her, but this girl's was long and seemingly untouched. She was also cute, and her monolid eyes were certainly attractive.

But what did she say again? Mina only understood common Korean words, and only if they would speak slowly, but speaking to her like how this girl spoke... She didn't understand a thing.

"...Eh?"

"Eh?" the girl tilted her head and confusedly stared at Mina. "I don't see you often. What year are you now?"

Fortunately, Mina understood that. "I'm... Third-year college. I'm from... Japan. Transferee."

Mina tried her best to explain it short and concise with gestures involved in case she got confused. The girl's mouth turned 'O' and then she smiled. Widely. Mina was almost blinded, but unknowingly, it also caused her to slightly smile. She smiled so cutely, it was contagious.
