The Prompt
The future, as they say, is now.
Put yourself in the boots of a soldier on the front lines of an intergalactic war in the distant future. You and your fellows are about to drop from orbit, onto a hostile world. Docking clamps will be released in five... four... three...
Pick up the story from there, and run with it.
The Fine Print
- Deadline: 23:59 GMT on Friday, February 11th.
- Entries should be a maximum of 1000 words.
- Mature content is permitted, however please ensure your work adheres to Wattpad's Content Guidelines.
- Fanfiction is permitted, however please ensure you state by way of an Author's Note which fandom you're writing.
- To enter, once you've written and published your story please paste the direct link to your entry into the comment section below.
- Your entry can be written as a standalone story, or as part of an existing collection of short stories.
- Your entry should be entirely new and original, and written exclusively for this contest.
The Prizes
