PROMPTS
1. Prompt: As the leader of a small, technologically-advanced island nation, the decision as to whether you should commit your military to wage a war that would likely see many of your people die is entirely yours.
Considerations: Why is war on the table in the first place? Do any viable diplomatic solutions remain? If diplomacy is off the table, is a covert mission an option?
2. Prompt: Captured by enemy forces, a small number of combatants are held prisoner, likely subject to all manner of torture both physical and psychological. But when the chance to escape presents itself, it's a chance that must be taken.
Considerations: Who are the combatants? Who is the enemy? After suffering such torture and treatment, is a wholly successful escape even possible?
3. Prompt: On a naval vessel positioned in the middle of the ocean, one night all contact is suddenly lost with base. With a sinister threat approaching on the horizon, how does the team overcome the imposing danger and regain contact with base?
Considerations: Why has contact been lost with the main base, perhaps a natural phenomenon or enemy sabotage? What is the imposing threat, a perfect storm, an enemy vessel, a seamonster, something else? Who are the crew, and what is their mission?
4. Prompt: The crew on the first exploratory voyage from Earth into deep space find their ship ambushed by a group of alien military forces. The alien forces believe the humans are working with their enemies as spies, as they were captured infiltrating the alien territory. How do the crew manage to escape?
Considerations: Who are the crew, and how can they accomplish communication with the alien race, considering language barrier and differing customs? What dangers are the crew threatened with if they don't escape? Is there any hope for peace between the two warring alien races?
