bruno x reader (NOT INCEST IDK WHAT IT IS BUT NOT INCEST)
bruno is deeply in love with you, but you have a boyfriend. will he confess his feeling for you in time

"has anybody seen (y/n)?" bruno yells, he's been looking for you all day. "shes gone with that guy she loves" isabela shakes her head, bruno was pretty good at hiding stuff, well hiding. but not from isabel and dolores, they knew he loved you from the day he set eyes on you. bruno tried to hide his disappointment but he couldn't believe you were probably gonna get married and have kids with that guy.

abuela rings the bell, "breakfast, to the table mi familial!". everyone gathers around the table and sits down. the chair tucks its self in, "thankyou casita" bruno mumbles, "wheres (y/n), oh-". you ran to the table, "sorry, sorry!". you had obviously been busy, too busy for your family.

abuela stands up, she clears her throat, "as you all know (y/n) has been seeing a guy, we all are thinking it should turn into something more! (y/n)?" abuela expects you to speak, you didn't even like him that much and they're speaking about something more?! "uhhh, i-i guess it could turn into a marriage of some sorts-" you get interrupted by everyone cheering, you cant help but feel a sort of guilt. you liked bruno. the guy was alright but he wasn't him.

bruno slowly claps with everyone else, trying not to show the shakiness of his hands. he hasn't been in a relationship in dios sabe and the time he tries he obviously gets no where. what did he expect? "(y/n)'s (s/o) will be coming for dinner tonight!" abuela announces.

after breakfast finished, dolores and isabela grabs bruno by his collar, they needed him to confess his feeling before its too late. "I've heard (y/n) speak about you bruno! she likes you as well!" dolores explains. confused, he doesn't say anything. was this true? does she like him back? "please bruno, don't miss out on the chance." isabela asks, she really thought (y/n) and him would be a great match.

just before dinner

"(y/n), (y/n)!" bruno yells at you, you tilt your head, what does he want with me? "yeah?" you ask.

"i-i just wanted to say-" oh no, he's panicking, "um, uhh, i-" 'get your words out bruno!' he thinks to himself. abuela rings the bell for the second time today, oh. "i think i need to go... we can talk later" you smile, that was odd, oh well here we go.

everyone sits down at the table, including your (s/o) right next to you. everyone hands out food and you go to eat but realise you have no appetite. bruno looks down at his plate feeling the same, he feels isabels eyes staring at him with confusion, he looks back up. black flowers sprout on her head.

"(y/n)..." your (s/o) starts, his cheeks go red. oh no, its happening. he gets down on his knees and pulls out a velvety black box, he opens it to reveal a precioso ring, a big shining diamond with pure gold dots circling it. "will you do me the honor and marry me?"

"of course!" you lied.

brunos face drains all sight of colour and happiness. he missed his chance. he lost you, but you were never his.
