Arrows flailing around the cloud-filled sky, blurred my vision as one landed straight in my arm.
"Bow!" Dream called out, stabbing an enemy from Pogtopia, "Bow, we need to get you out of here."
I shook my head violently, pulling the arrow out of my arm. I slowly rose from the ground, gripping my bow and quiver, I approached the edge of the tower once again. Slowly pulling an arrow, I aimed it towards the one face I didn't want to see for years.
Missed.
"Bow, what are you doing? We need to leave," Dream said looking around for a quick exit.
"I can't. Not now," I said, drawing another arrow, "I'm fine, go take down the enemies."
Aiming once more towards the shoulder. Missed.
That pig needs to stay still before I come down there with my axe. I thought to myself drawing another arrow, to only be stopped by a torn fingerless glove.
"Y/n," Dream whispered, "We need to go. Your arm is stained red, Sapnap, George and the others have it under control."
I gazed at the white mask, as it smiled back, blonde tussles of hair sat comfortably above while a dark green hood encompassed his entire head. I glanced towards the glove that lay on my quiver, black and torn from the close combat battles. The other hand rested over mine also holding the bow.
"Please, let's heal your arm then you can do as you please again," He said slowly removing the quiver from my other shoulder, "Please."
"I'm not going to die from a little shoulder blood Dream, I'm not the weak little princess who you first met who screamed at the spider that jumped at you."
"I know Bow, I know," He said now holding the quiver over his shoulder, "But I want to help heal you."
I looked back into the eyes embedded into the mask, nodding slowly, "Fine."
I let Dream take my bow, putting it in his bag. Dream looked back at me lifting my hood from its resting place back onto my head, slightly covering my eyes from the world, "Let's leave now before an ambush happens."
~|A Small Time Skip|~
We had made our way down the spiral stairs, exiting the tower from the back. Pogtopia and Manburg were shedding blood in the main part of the SMP, meaning the path to our base would be free from danger.
"DREAM!" A voice called from behind us, "Why aren't you with the others, Manburg's greatest fighter shielding the weak."
The voice echoed through my ears, causing me to leave Dream's grasp turning around.
"Tommy?" I asked looking at the man enclosed in netherite with a red and white shirt poking through the cracks.
"Y/n?" Tommy asked slowly approaching me, "What are you doing here? Why are you on a battleground?"
"Am I not allowed to fight for what I believe is right?" I said, holding my lower arm as the numbness spread.
"Only if you are with Pogtopia."
"Why would that matter Tommy, Why are you on a battleground, How did Wilbur let you fight?"
"Because. Wilbur trusts me, and you're our sister, not the enemy."
A scoff escaped the partial sibling reunion.
"Sure, Wilbur trusts you," Dream said approaching us both.
Both Tommy and I's eyebrows scrunched together looking towards the green man.
"Of course Wilbur trusts me, I'm his brother," Tommy said dumbfounded by Dream's statement.
