Where am I?

Meeah

All I saw was red… Everywhere, no matter where I turned. The smoke was overwhelming. All I could think about was my family. My mothers last words “RUN, Meeah run and never look back!” Now there I was lost and all alone. I didn’t know where I was, nor did I know how long it'd been. All I knew was that they'd come for me. My kind is a threat, a major threat, not only am I a werewolf but a hybrid one. I’m half werewolf and half witch.

My dad was the alpha wolf, while my mother was a witch. My mother would always tell me that I'm very special and one day I'll see it for myself. I've escaped this time, but will I be able to next time?

I was living alone and surviving all alone. At that very moment, I was not even sure where I was. All I knew was that the area was secluded enough to not be found. I needed to find help before it’s too late. I needed to find someone who could help train and educate me on what’s to come.

I didn’t get to shift yet, since I wasn’t sixteen yet. But once I did, my true powers would come to me. I won’t turn sixteen until December. I’m not sure what month we are in now, so I have to think smart.

When a wolf turned sixteen their true mate would be able to find me. But would my mate take me for who I am? Would he have accepted me and the power I’d bring? Would he accept the power he would get if he decided to accept me and mark me? I hope he doesn’t reject me… I couldn’t take the pain of the rejection, if that was his decision.

One random day, I was walking to a stream I found. Trying to clean myself up a bit and hydrate. But I stopped once I felt a presence near me. Not too close but close enough to know they’re watching me. I slowly stood up and turned, there they were. Three werewolves. One just a bit bigger than the other two, which I assumed was the Alpha. Behind a tree they shifted into their human form, in just some basketball shorts. The one I assumed was the Alpha spoke up.

“Who are you and what are you doing on my grounds?” Obviously he’d want to know, but I didn’t even know I entered anyone's land.

“I am Meeah Lee, I’m just a lone wolf. My parents and pack were killed, and I was able to escape.” I looked down and didn’t hear anyone speak up so I continued, “to be honest I’m not sure how long it’s been. Neither do I know how far I’ve gone.” They all looked at each other as their eyes glazed over. Which I’m assuming they were mind linking. A few long, quiet, seconds had gone by before the Alpha finally spoke up.

“Come with us, we have a few questions. Also, you can have a shower and some food.” I stood there for a second debating what to do. Could I trust them? If I were to tell them everything, would they hand me over? Something was telling me to trust them but I was so scared. Brushing the fear away, I nodded.
