"No, it just says that I like you better...Onii-chan Ryo is way smarter than you," I said simply.
"He is one year older that's why!!!" Rin says.
"Still, in Onii-chan Ryo's first year in high school, he got better grades than what you got last year," I said.
"So, I am better than him?" Onii-chan Ryo asks.
"No, there are other things he is better at than you...but that goes to Onii-chan Rin too...you guys are the same to me, I guess," I said. The two stayed quiet and shrugged. I put my shirt on and was about to walk out the door.
"Talking with you guys was...kinda fun," I said before going out. Akiro heard the conversation and almost cried. I enjoyed my conversation with them, but not enough to make me smile or laugh. I left the gym to go to my job. I worked at a restaurant, not a maid one, of course. When I put on my disguise, no one from my school could tell that I was from my school. Luckily, my boss is really nice and can do fantastic makeup work.
It was my daily life, many of the students from my school came here before...but never noticed that it was Ms. Sour Candy. I honestly didn't mind that name...I mean, I guess it is kind of cool....actually, I do mind it.
At least, I didn't have the name "King of the court," which meant worse than what I had. I felt bad, for the guy that people called the king of the court. I bet he understands how it feels to be depressed and people making fun of him and hating him...Welp, at least he knows happiness.
"Ruri-chan! Can you help the customers on table 8?" Mrs. Konichi asked me.
"Ah! Sure!" I said. People in this restaurant aren't scared of me and talk to me freely whenever I am there. That is probably why I maybe like working here. No one is scared of me and acts like a friend to me.
"Konichiwa, Morikatsu-san! Do you want your usual?" I asked in a high-pitched voice. Morikatsu, a very successful businessman, always came here after work to have a break and see me.
"Nice seeing you again, Korishi(fake name)," he said, smiling at me. "And yes, may I have my usuals."
"Right away!" I said. Although people don't think I'm depressed here, that doesn't mean they've seen my smile before. I got him a cheese omelet and iced tea.
"Enjoy!" I said Before I went into the kitchen, a customer called me.
"Excuse me, miss! The one with the purple tray!" A familiar voice called. It was probably someone from my school.
"Konichiwa! Welcome to Ramiki Kumi Kimu!" I said in a high-pitched voice.
"Konichiwa, this is our first time here. Can you tell us what is famous here," I opened my eyes and saw the twins looking right up at me.
"Sure, sir! Our most famous dish is the ka-," I couldn't finish my sentence. Osamu stood up, came close to my face, and smirked.
"Tsumu, get a look at this," Osamu said. Atsumu did the same as his twin.
"Well, well...if it isn't Ms. Sour Candy," Atsumu said.
"S-s-sir! Who are you talking about?" I asked like I had no idea. Osamu took the clip out of my hair and, shows it to me.
"Only our Sour Candy wears this," Osamu said.
"These clips are trending, so I b-bought one...probably whoever you're talking about b-bought it too," I said, sweating.
"No, Suna told us that your papa made that for you...did your papa make more for other people too?" Atsumu asked. I knew I couldn't fight them anymore.
"Sir, please...may we talk about this outside," I said.
"Boss, I gotta go...I will work for an extra hour tomorrow," I told her, she agreed and I went to change.
"Sirs, we can leave now," I said. When we went outside, I dragged them, behind the restaurant.
"What the hell do you want!" I hissed at them.
"First off, take the makeup," Atsumu says. Osamu pours water on my face and I used a towel to wipe off the makeup.
"My junior high life was fucked up and now my high school too! I will give you money, just leave my life alone," I said, slapping myself.
"Even if you give me everyone in this world's money combined...we will not stop," Osamu said.
"Then, what will stop you," I whined.
"Nothing...we like you and we won't stop till you like us too," The twins said at the same time.
"I don't have time for love! First off, I can't feel happy so you expect me to skip a step and fall in love?" I asked.
"When you feel love, you will feel happiness," Atsumu whispers in my ear.
"You know about happiness?" I asked.
"I'm pretty sure everyone does," Osamu said.
"Not everyone," I mumbled.
"Anyways~, you know we could tell the whole school about you," Atsumu says.
"Please don't," I begged.
"See, this what we love...your so cute when you beg," Osamu says, touching my chin. I slapped his hand off me.
"Here's the deal, if you hang out with us after your work every day...we won't tell anyone," Atsumu says.
"P-Promise," I mumbled in a soft voice and looked up at them. They blushed, nodded, and patted my head. They seem like the type who knows a lot about love, smiling, and happiness...maybe they could help me find these 3.
"Well, I didn't get my food...let's go to a restaurant," Osamu says.
"No, let's go to the movies!" Atsumu says. Of course, the twins started to fight.
"Why don't we go to the movies first and then for dinner, we go to a restaurant," I asked, shrugging. We went to the movies and the new, thrilling, horror movie came out. I guess I was pretty curious about watching it.
"Can we watch this movie?" I asked.
"A horror? Don't you want to watch a romance or comedy?" Atsumu asks, trembling.
"No, I don't" I avowed. "Is something wrong?"
"Tsumu is a sca-," Atsumu didn't let Osamu finish the sentence.
"Shut it, Samu! We can go, I just asked, just in case you would get scared," Atsumu said. The twins bought the tickets and we were about to do our first thing together.
