Love Me Like You Do

The sleepover

      "Its finally friday!!" Jonah yelled at Luke as they walked out of their last class of the day.

      "Okay so do you have plans?" Luke asked.

      "Do I ever have plans?" Jonah quipped with a small smile.

      "True, okay so do you wanna come over tonight?"

      "Yeah, or you could come over to my house" Jonah said with a flirtatious smile.

      "Sounds good" Luke responded, he was completely oblivious to Jonah's flirting because he was too focused on their Friday night plans.

      The pair eventually made it to Jonah's house, but not before making a stop for snacks.

       An hour passed and they ended up in Jonah's room with half eaten snacks littering the floor and videogames on. They spent the evening in a comfortable silence, just enjoying each others company. Until...

Sierra called. Sierra was Jonah's stalker. Plain and simple. She had a crush on him for 6 years, but every time she attempted to talk to him he would kindly excuse himself. It wasn't his fault. Nobody really talked to her much.

      Jonah's phone continued to vibrate until Luke picked it up for him.

      "Hello?" Luke said into the phone.

      "Is this Jonah? It's Sierra, I just called to  tell you  I'm having a party next Saturday and I wanted you to come"

      "Oh um this isn't Jonah, its his friend Luke." He replied awkwardly.

      "Oh, it's you." Luke could practically hear her sneering through the phone.

      " Yeah. Uh who are you again?"

      "You don't need to know. All you need to do is stay away from my future husband before you get into an accident."

      "Okay I'm hanging up now"

      "Who was that?" Jonah piped up.

      "Some crazy chick."

      "Oh. Sierra?"

      "How'd you know ?"

      "She's been stalking me for a month now."

      "That sucks"

       "Yeah."

       Jonah suddenly yawned loudly. Luke thought that was odd considering it was pretty early in the evening.

      "I'm tired, wanna go to bed?"

     "Nothing better to do."

      The two fell asleep on the floor in a pile of pillows and blankets.

      "Good night. I love you..." a voice whispered, breaking the quiet darkness.
