Jase Gets Crushed (Part 3)

The entire school day went by like a breeze as the bell rang for everyone to head home. Jase, on the other hand, was rushing past the crowd to get to the Purple Dragons' lair as soon as possible to repair his drone.

When he passed the flower shop, he stopped in his tracks to see Amy there as well, wearing the exact same outfit in his dream!

"Wow...she looks even more hot in those clothes in real life!" Jase thought, dreamily. His eyes had hearts in them as he watch her talk to the cashier.

"Oh yes, I have your order of Stargazer Lilies, young lady. I'll go get them right now," He said as he walked towards the back.

Jase smiles, confidently; this was his chance to strike a conversation with her. He went inside the store while fixing his hair and shining his glasses to look nice. He then spotted a dark red rose bouquet on one of the aisles.

The bespectacled teenage boy picked off one of the roses and head straight to Amy's direction. He tugged at his collar and gulp nervously. This is it...he was gonna confess his feelings to the girl of his dreams...

He tapped on her shoulder and could practically see a bright light shining behind the brunette as if she was an angel that descended from the heavens.

Jase was once again at a loss for words as he stared at her. His nose was even bleeding a little at the breath-taking and divine beauty standing right in front of him. Never would he thought that he would be alone with Amy Smith of all people.

"Kid...hey, kid!" The cashier says out loud, snapping the teen out of his trance. "You do know that you're bleeding, right?"

"What?" Jase looks down to see blood dripping down his nose. He panics and grabs a tissue from his jacket pocket and stuffs it into his nostrils. He chuckled nervously as the other two give him looks.

"Anyway, here are your flowers, Miss Smith," The man gave her the lilies as she gave him the money. The brunette was about to walk away to the exit, but Jase ran up to her.

"W-Wait, Amy!" He calls out as Amy turns around to face him.

"Do you want something, Jase?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. He takes a deep breath and look straight into her eyes.

"Well, I-I was w-wondering if y-you..." He stops mid-sentence as his heart was pounding and his face was beet red, with steam coming out of his head. He lightly poke at one of the rose petals as he continue.

"Do you want to go to the--" Before he could finish, Amy's phone rang and she picked it up to answer.

"Hi, Leo. What's going on?" Jase's face fell in despair and heartbreak as he suddenly remembered something: she already has a boyfriend.

"Yeah, I'll meet you guys there soon. Bye," Amy hangs up and returns her gaze to Jase. "What were you about to ask me again?"

"Um...never mind," He says. She looks at him, confused. After a few seconds, she shrugs it off and leaves.

Jase puts the rose back in one of the aisles and walks out of the store. By now, Amy must have disappeared into the large crowd of people.

His thoughts disappeared when a voice behind him said, "So, you like Amy too?"

He whipped his head to see Jeremy fuming like crazy with his fists clenched. Heck, flames can practically be seen behind him as he's giving his teammate a death glare!

"Jeremy?! Um...how much did you saw in the flower shop...?" Jase asks, fearfully.

"Everything. And I saw these pictures on your laptop when you left it on your desk before heading out," The African-American teen holds up the computer to show various images of Amy on the screen.

"Uh huh..." Jase knew what was gonna happen next as he ran as fast as possible...with his teammate chasing after him.

"YOU TRAITOR!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HID THIS BEHIND MY BACK FOR SO LONG!!!!!" Jeremy yells as people they past by give them looks.

"AAAAAUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!" Jase screams as he kept running away. Hopefully, Kendra won't rub it in his face once she sees that she's right.
