"Rika..."

"Rika..."

"Rika...!"

The young girl awoke in a cold sweat. Her heart beat out of her chest as she glanced around the room.
"What an awful nightmare!" She said to herself. She had dreamt that she was a cardboard cutout in a fanfiction written by a 10 year old. Luckily, that was only a dream, right? She got out from under the covers and stretched her weak, unathletic arms. The warm sunshine lit up the room. In hopes of making the dismal, weeb infested room more bright, the girl opened the window and let the summer air in. Upon looking outside, she saw her neighbor, Nathan, across the street.
Damn, he was so hot. He was cleaning the pool in his yard, and he didn't have a shirt on. Actually, he never wore a shirt. He had a strict anti-shirt policy, as shirts might suffocate his 6-pack. She sighed as she gazed at his perfectly toned abdomen.
"Oh, Nathan~sem-" She started to say. She was interrupted by a yell from across the yard.
"Ah ha ha What's popping!?" Nathan yelled up to her. The girl furrowed her eyebrows. He noticed her? Impossible.
She turned away from the windowsill, unsure of how to respond to that. She was a weeb- oh sorry, Otaku. She didn't know how to interact with human beings. She sighed at her own inabilities. If only she could be taken to a world without human beings! If only...
She decided to relieve her sadness with a little Minecraft. Surely that would make her feel better. She booted up her PC, but found there was a mysterious email for her. This was very out of the ordinary, since she had no friends. In fact, this young girl had no connection to anyone. Why, as convenient as it might seem, no one would miss her if she mysteriously disappeared one day. So, with absolutely nothing to lose or gain, she opened the email. Her boring colored eyes skimmed the email, only to find it made no sense. Not only was it creepy and almost threatening, it was very sassy and demanding. She winced as she skimmed through it.
"You... I've seen you for so long bby pls touch the screen pls touch the screen touch your computer screen real quick ;DDD," The young girl read the email out loud. Is... Is this even English? And how did she say ';D' out loud? She sighed. Should she touch her computer screen? Why should she do that? After a while of contemplating, she decided to just delete the email. This particular email was way too suspicious. She might have been a dumb bitch, but she wasn't stupid.
Although reason and common sense won her over this time, curiosity would prove to be triumphant later that night. As she lie awake in bed, her computer screen suddenly illuminated the room in a bright sky blue light. She angrily sat up in her bed. Who dared? At this hour?! She uncovered herself and walked over to turn her monitor off. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw what was on her screen.
It was completely white, aside from blue text with the contents of the email from before. She moved around her mouse, but the pointer wasn't anywhere on her screen. A lump formed in her throat. This was starting to get weird. Did she have a virus? She held down the power button on her PC. She heard the fans turn off, but the monitor mysteriously stayed on. She was no IT guy, but she was almost certain this wasn't possible. Almost. She held her hand against her forehead in irritation. She just wanted to sleep.
After a solid 5 minutes of tinkering with the wires behind her desk, a lack of sleep and no successful attempts at turning off the monitor, she finally snapped.
"Fine!" She yelled at the inanimate object, "You want me to touch my screen so badly?! Fine! You win!"
She reached her hand forward and lightly placed her hand on the screen. After a couple seconds... Nothing happened. The girl's eyes narrowed. She smudged her computer screen for nothing? But she thought too soon. The whole room was suddenly engulfed by a blinding light...
