"You good, Sero?" Mina asked her friend, ruffling his hair.

Sero had his face in his arms, groaning because of the constant questions he was being asked. Earlier, Kaminari wouldn't stop bothering him about the mysterious boy he told him about.

"Cmon', you know you can tell me," she said grinning. He knew he couldn't tell her. Not a chance. "Please? Pretty please?" grunting, Sero obliged.

"A cute guy at my job gave me his nu-" he was cut off by screeching. Mina was visually very excited. Sero knew he shouldn't have given in.

"Tell me all the deets!" she was bouncing around and being a tad bit too loud.

"Could you be any louder?" he whispered with an annoyed tone. People were starting to look his way and all he wanted to do was go home. He already had loads of homework and the cherry on the cake was the unwanted attention from his friends.

Lunch was even worse. He usually went to the library to study during lunchtime, but Mina and Kaminari dragged him to their lunch spot. It was under a beautiful sakura tree behind the school. The sky was a bright blue with no clouds to be seen. The sun seemed to shine brighter than ever before, and the grass was a vivid green. Everything seemed more vibrant somehow. Sero opened his bento and sighed. He was so tired of everything that had happened that day and was relieved that he could finally sit down and relax. That was until he heard a little someone in his ear. Her voice kept buzzing on, and on, and he just shut his eyes and let her ramble on. He knew they would try to find the mysterious boy. He knew they would come to his job more often. He mentally facepalmed and regretted everything he said to them.

When Sero buried his face in his pillows after the long day at school, he finally felt like he could really relax. His head was flooding with thoughts of the boy from the coffee shop. He wasn't even that special... Sero thought to himself. He thought he was being irrational, so he pushed the thoughts aside and decided to order some takeout. He didn't feel like getting an appropriate outfit to go out anyway. He decided to invite a friend over, the only rational one he had. Plus, he couldn't eat a whole pizza alone.

"Hey, Katsuki?" Sero asked once the boy had answered the phone.

"What is it now? Need help with homework again?" Bakugou answered with a snarky tone. After that Sero heard mumbling about how dumb he was and how he shouldn't feel obliged to help him.

"No, I- um, I wanted you to come over. I ordered food too.. I just needed to talk to you about something."

"You're lucky I'm in a good mood," Bakugou said, "or else I would hang up the damn phone." Smiling, Sero concluded the call and ordered the pizza. It was going to feel good to get this off of his chest, and confiding in somebody was a good way to cope.

The pizza was steaming from the counter, the smell overwhelming Sero's senses. As soon as the doorbell rang, Sero jumped out of his seat. Brushing himself off, he made his way to the door. "Tch, you're lucky my car had gas, or else I-"

"Thank you for coming - seriously - I think you're gonna wanna sit down," Sero said with an awkward grin, leading Bakugou to the couch. "Are you hungry? I ordered food."

"Whatever. I haven't eaten yet anyway. Looks nasty though." He retorted. Sero picked up a slice of pizza and placed it on the plate. With an angry glare, Bakugou said "It's about that damn coffee shop job, isn't it? You see, this is why we don't listen to Mina and her stupid ass." He angrily bit into the pizza, hiding the fact he secretly thought it was good. After a minute, Bakugou got tired. "So? Ya gonna tell me about this dumbass in your mind? What was his name? Toto Shodorki or something idiotic like that?" Bakugou said tiredly. Taking a bite into his pizza, Sero contemplated. This is so embarrassing...

"I, um, I can't get him off my mind. It's like an earworm that can't make its way out. It's eating me alive and I can't take it. I know you had this issue with Eijiro, but what did you do?" Sero sighed, "I'm not as bold as you, so I can't just text the number- I'd sound like an idiot."

"You know, dumbass, Kyoka also had the same issue. I'm not sugarcoating it but if you really wan't a chance with this bastard, you gotta man up. Surprisingly, I wasn't the one to make the first move - though I wish I was - but if I hadn't even made a small move, my relationship wouldn't be the way it is. Either you text that damn number, or give me the damn phone and I'll do it for you. I'm not letting this happen again. It hurt you enough before." Bakugou rubbed his temples and took another bite out of his pizza. He was right, if Sero even wanted a second glance at the guy, he'd have to text him. As much as he hated confrontation, what else was he gonna do? He really wanted to get to know the mysterious boy more, and he showed interest back! It was the perfect opportunity.

"Thank you Kat, seriously. I don't know what I'd do without you." Sero said nervously, rubbing his nape.

"I told you to stop calling me that, ya idiot. And don't hesitate to ask again for help, you know I'd never leave ya in the dust, Sero." It'd been a long time since he actually called Sero by his name, so he chuckled.

"Thanks Kat."

"Anytime, dumbass." Ah, there's the Bakugou we know.

The bell rang above the door as he walked in, ready for another day at work. Tying his apron on, he sighed. Would the biy come back? That was a mystery to him, but his shift started in 5 minutes, so he needed to hurry. Rushing out to the counter, he met with his first customer. "Hi, what can I get for you today?" He asked with his usual bright smile.

"Iced americano, medium. Make it quick, I have somewhere to be." the customer said. Great, Sero thought, what a great way to start the day.

"Will that be all, sir? If so, may I have a name for the order?" The customer tapped his food impatiently against the ground and blurted out a name Sero had definitely heard somewhere before. The guy was about five years older than him, at least. He's seen him a few times, he was rather famous. That's all he could recall though.

"Keigo Takami. Please hurry up."

"Your total will be $5.64. Thank you!" the ding of the register signaled his leave, and he made his way to the drink station. Some people are such pains these days. Ugh. Sero thought. He was appalled that a celebrity like himself would be such a douche in person. Plus, why come to his small location of all places.

"Christ, what's taking so long?" Keigo blurted out, rather loudly. With a grunt, Sero finished his drink and placed it on the counter.

"Takami!" he shouted, getting the man's attention. The man whipped his head in Sero's direction and strode up to the counter, snatching his drink away. "Have a nice day!" Sero said, masking the douchey things he really wanted to say.

"Yeah yeah." He said, walking out the door. Sero groaned. He didn't want the whole day to be like this. He didn't even want to go to work that day. Making his way into his own daydreams, he rested his hand against his palm against the counter and fell into his daydreams.

A/N

Thank you so much for the nice comments and reads on the last chapter! It makes my heart so so so happy. I appreciate it so much! My school has just gone remote, and midterms were cancelled, so I'll make sure to write more often. I'm super excited to see where this story is gonna go, and I hope you'll like it just as much as I do. Im trying my best! Writing is one of my passions, and I've always had a soft spot for making funny stories as a child. I've been reading more often recently, and it really influences my writing technique and style so m writing will get better, I promise. I'll try to make this story as long as I can, because that's a personal preference of mine that I like to see in novels on wattpad and I want you guys to stay tuned for more updates. Please let me know if I should upload this to ao3 in the future, because I'd love for this story to get as much recognition as possible.
