Abstract

CHAPTER 33

Darianne Rasmussen's POV

*Kring! Kring! Kring!*

"Labi, saan na kayo? Nai-prepare na namin nila ate yung lunch tapos pinag ready nadin namin sila Mom." Khyrieze asked after I answered the call. Ngayon ang punta namin sa Farm house nila where in gaganapin yung lunch at get-together nila Mom at Tita Llanne. Of course excited si Mommy, while Tita Llanne have no Idea about this. Ang alam lang ng parents ni Khyrieze ay ime-meet na nila ang parents ko.

"Malapit na kami K, okay na rin si Mom. She looks excited" I said while looking at my Mom. Lumingon ito sakin at ngumiti. There's something with her smile, I don't know if she's scare or tensed. I don't know.

"Alright, I'll just see you in a bit." she told me. I really missed her, dapat ay susunod agad ako dito when I learned that someone from the past suddenly appeared, but I have no choice but to wait for my parents dahil hindi naman pumayag sila Mommy na mauna ako. Ang gusto kasi nila ay sabay sabay na kami.

"Okay" I just said before I hung up. Maya maya pa ay may malaking gate kaming pinasukan. Sa loob nito ay may malaking bahay— no, it's actually a mansion. Quite bigger than what they have in greenwoods, pero yung sa highlands naman kasi malawak yung space tho malawak din yung space dito but the view of that house is really impressive.

"Grabe sis, yayamanin pala talaga yung jojowain mo" manghang sabi ni kuya Daris kaya napalingon ako dito pagkababa namin.

"Knowing that they lived in highlands, hindi na nga nakakapagtaka" pagsangayon ni kuya Dave dito. Our house are quite big din naman, but not this massive.

"Rian" A soft but husky voice called my name as I closed the door. Nilingon ko ito at nakita ko ang nakangiting si Khyrieze. Agad itong lumapit sakin and hugged me tight. "Gosh I missed you" she said so I hug her also and rub her back. I can't help but to smell her, I really missed this girl.

"We're glad to see you too Khyrieze" biro ni Daddy nang hindi parin ako binibitawan ni Khyrieze. Napakalas naman ako nang yakap habang si Khyrieze ay napakamot sa kanyang ulo.

"I'm sorry Tito, I just missed Rian" Sabi nito bago lumapit kay Daddy at bumeso dito, ganun din kila Mommy at sa mga kapatid ko.

"You don't have to kiss me, baka magalit pa si Rian" biglang sabi ni Kuya Dave at nakipag kamay nalang dito.

"Me too, just shake hands" Daryl says. Pero kinarga parin siya ni Khyrieze at hinalikan sa pisngi. Namula naman ito. Jeez, he's still into her.

"I don't care baby, you're still my baby boy" Khyrieze says while pinching my brother's cheek. Tinago naman agad ni daryl ang kanyang mukha sa balikat ni Khyrieze. "Tita, Tito, mga kuya, tara na po sa garden , they're waiting." she said kaya tumango naman sila Mom. She gently hold my hand before smiling at me.

"Kay kuya mo na i-pabuhat yan, ang laki-laki na ni Daryl, mabigat na siya" I said dahil baka nahihirapan na siya sa pagbitbit dito.

"Labi, you don't have to be jealous, you're my baby girl naman e" she teased kaya kinurot ko siya. Kahit kailan talaga.

"Hindi ako nagseselos Khyrieze, alam ko lang na mabigat yung kapatid ko at ayokong mahirapan ka" seryosong sabi ko pero nanatiling nakangisi lang ito sa akin. "Sina—" she immediately cut me off by pulling my waist.

"Shh. I can handle him, ang cute kaya natin, muka tayong pamilya" bulong nitong muli bago ngumiti at humarap na sa dinadanan namin. Napangiti naman ako, so she like the Idea of having a baby with me. That's flattering.

"Ang landi mo nanaman, may ginawa ka siguro habang wala ako. Kaya bumabawi ka" depensa ko para hindi niya pamansin na napangiti ako sa sinabi niya.

"Nah, come on, huwag mong sirain yung moment" mahinang hinila ako nito para mas mapalapit sa kanya. Bigla ko naman naalala yung napagusapan namin ni Zeno.

"I have something to tell you later Khyrieze, we need to talk" I said agad itong napalingon sa akin at nagtataka akong tinignan.

"I swear, wala akong ginawa nung wala ka, I barely talk to her and Kung ano man yung nabalitaan or iniisip mo let me explain first" seryosong sabi nito kaya napatawa ako. Gosh, is she that's scared to make me jealous? Well, if ever man na lokohin niya ako, kasing lakas ng spike ko ang tatama sa mukha niya.

"Calm down, it's not about that but yeah you need to tell me everything as in everything. But aside from that, may kailangan ka talagang malaman. Basta mamaya I'll tell you, for now, let's focus on this" sabi ko at sakto, nakarating na kami sa garden kung saan may nakahanda na mahabang lamesa. Hindi rin mainit dito since nasa ilalim ito ng malaking mangga.

"Bigla naman ako nacurious jan Rian, ngayo—" she was cut off by her Mom.

"Arianne? Oh my! Ikaw nga?!" her Mom says before it rans towards my mother. They immediately hugged each other. Bigla naman napunta ang tingin ko kay Dad na kasalukuyang nakatingin sa Daddy ni Khyrieze.

"David, is that you?" Her Dad asked. Tumango naman si Daddy bago lumapit dito. "I missed you so much, I didn't expect to see you Damn!" Sabi nito at niyakap din si Daddy. Gulat naman kaming nagkatinginan ni Khyrieze. We didn't know na magkakilala din pala yung mga father namin. Maya maya pa lumapit ang Daddy nito samin

"Kids, would you mind if we talked first? Kaming apat muna?" Her Dad asked kaya halos lahat kami ay nagkatinginan. I don't know if it's just me or there something going on. Bigla kasing naging seryoso ang atmosphere, iba sa inaasahan ko. I just shrugged it of at ngumiti.

"Of course Dad, I know naman na na miss niyo ni Mom yung mga kaibigan niyo. Let's go guys" Khyrieze says while looking at us and invited us to leave. Napatingin naman ako kila Mom na nag iiyakan, Tita Llanne looks like explaining something to my Mom while my Mom looks like listening and understanding Tita Llanne. "I didn't know na kilala din pala ni Daddy ang Dad mo" nakangiting sabi ni Khyrieze at naiiling.

"Maybe because our Momies are best friends? Ganun din siguro sila, they met each because of our mothers" Kuya Daris said nang lumapit ito para kunin si Daryl. Nakatulog na kasi ito sa saglit na pagkakayuko sa balikat ni Khyrieze. "K san na nga ba yung guess room namin?" tanong pa nito. Tumawag naman si Khyrieze ng mag a- assist kila kuya.

"It is cool isn't? Your father and I looks so closed, I've never seen a man cry for a man before, they must be really close" She said as we enter the living room. Kaming dalawa nalang yung magkasama since sumama na si kuya Dave na magpahinga muna.  "I guess there's nothing to be scared of, we can tell them na what's our real status diba? What do you think?" sabi nito kaya nabaling ang tingin ko sa kanya.

"As long as we're both ready, Surely we can. I also have a feeling na may alam na sila Mom, yun pa, malakas makakutob yun" I said almost chuckled. Buti nalang din at open sila Mom in that kind of situation, hindi sila katulad nung iba na instead of supporting their child, sila pa yung unang nag down dito.

"Really? How?" she asked. I just shrugged my shoulders because I really don't have any idea how my Mom finds out, well, maybe the sayings were true. There's nothing you can hide from your Mom, it's either she already knew things or have a feeling of something.
