"Jimin....maybe we should break up" I started looking at mine and Jungkook's wall framed photo.

"No y/n, breakup is not the solution between you two. You should talk to him" Jimin tried to calm me down

"Dear, listen to me. Give him some time, please" he requested.

"Trying to defend your friend I see," I stated before getting up.

"I'm trying to not let you both get hurt. I know how much you both are in love with each other" he replied.

Do I have a choice?

I nodded and left to the kitchen to make some food for me and Jimin. I don't want to be in this state any longer. I do deserve happiness right. I want to roam around, find friends, date properly, and feel the love. As we are on break, I can do anything. And I decided to not sit like this. I have a full week to make my mind clear and I'm not gonna waste this chance. Though I'm an introvert, I still talk to people and I'm not like Jungkook at all.

"Jim, let's go to a club," I said to him.

"Sure, be ready at 8 then" he replied after washing his hands.

He left as he ate his lunch. I was again alone but I didn't want to sit idle. I started watching a new Korean series and the time passed until it's 6 pm. At 6, I took a long bath again, as these days, showers are my companion. I wore a dress that suits me for clubbing and did not do much makeup. Still, I look pretty

It's his loss if he misses this beauty

I did final touch-ups and it was already 8 so I grabbed my purse, phone and made my way out. Jimin was standing beside his car, probably waiting for me.

"Shall we go?" He asked and I swiftly nodded and got into the car.

"Let's eat something before we go to the club," Jimin suggested.

"Alright, I'm hungry anyway" I replied.

He started driving and kept giving me occasional glances. I furrowed my brows and looked at him and caught him looking at me again.

"What's bothering you now?" I asked him.

"You're acting differently. You never go to clubs"

"Can't I get a change? I'm also a human Jim, I'm ain't any machine" I huffed.

"As you wish but don't hurt or push yourself to anything" he advised me.

Oh how good a friend of mine he is

"Can you try giving me some less work or maybe can I hire a secretary?" I asked him. After all, it's his company I'm working in.

"I suggested this many times, and you're listening now. I'll hire you a secretary right away" he smiled.

"Thanks" I leaned onto his shoulder.

Jimin is my pillar in life. My parents are not so supportive of me, they didn't agree when I said I wanted to work and live alone. They wanted me to marry right after my graduation. That's when I introduced Jungkook to them. They didn't accept our relationship but I took a step to walk out of my house. I never wanted anyone to support me. I got a job right away as Jimin's father trusts me a lot. Soon, from a mere manager post, I grew up to become the director of the company.

Jimin took his steps slow from being a director, President and at last, he became the CEO while I got into the director position. But Jungkook's father, being the most irritating person, didn't allow him to adopt and made him take up the CEO position right after he graduated. He took so long to get adapted and I helped him in many ways I can. At last, I didn't understand that helping him to be good at his job would let us drift apart from our relationship.
