Jungkook was not himself at all. He drowned himself in alcohol, still checking the profit rate every hour. He crushed everything he got hold on into pieces. The house was a mess, so was his heart.
What if she doesn't accept me after all this struggle?

The alcohol intoxication didn't do him any good either. It made him imagine his fears more, his cries louder and his sobs uncontrollable. He was in a fear of losing you which made him insane.
"What the hell are you saying? I don't want to hear any explanations. Do anything, I need the profit to raise for this product as soon as possible" Jungkook roared at his manager.
"Sir, we are trying every way possible. But I don't think we can reach the target you told us" he tried to say as softly as possible.
"Don't give me f**ing excuses. I want only the results. I poured all my time into it that I almost lost my love" Jungkook kneeled down.
He cried remembering how broken you were when he was avoiding you and gave shitty excuses.
"Please do something" he pleaded his secretary who was actually helpless.
"Jimin ah, please take care of y/n" Jungkook cried over the call.
"Isn't she with you?" Jimin was confused.
"No, please go to her. She needs you now" his sobs got louder.
"Kook, please calm down and tell me what happened" Jimin tried persuading Jungkook.
"I broke her. I don't deserve her. Can you make her move own, I don't know if I can win her"
"Don't talk rubbish, tell me if I can help you with anything" Jimin raised his voice.
Jungkook explained everything about the condition his dad kept and the arrangement of his marriage. Jimin was already fuming with anger that Jungkook kept such matters from him all these days.
"How can you....Arrrrg" Jimin slammed his hand on the table.
Jungkook was already crying, helpless and weak.
"Jungkook, go and talk to your father"
"Huh?" Jungkook didn't understand.
"Tell me one thing, which is more important to you, y/n, or your assets?" Jimin asked Jungkook.
"Obviously y/n" he wiped his tears and stood up.
"Then go and give up everything. You don't need assets to live a happy life, Jungkook. All you need is your loved ones beside you with love and trust" Jimin stated.
Jungkook's father promised Jungkook to give his share of assets to him if he finished the project with the required profits. Jungkook planned that he can move away with you to anywhere you want and can live happily with his assets and you. It's just because he wanted you to live comfortably without worrying about bills. He didn't want you to work your ass off to pay the living. Instead only he wanted to work and treat you like a queen with all the happiness and love you deserve.
"But hyung, she..."
"Did y/n ever tell you that she'll stop working if she has enough money?" Jimin asked.
"No," Jungkook replied.
"Then what else. Even if you both have millions, she'd still work cause she likes her profession. So don't think much and decide something quickly" Jimin said before he hung up the call.
