Bruno Madrigal x Reader

The lake

The lake was our spot, a place that went to whenever we wanted to be alone or just hang out. Not many people really knew about this place, I mean they knew about they just didn't really know how to get here. "I could never get enough of this place." I said as we arrived. I had come here earlier in the day to clean the area up. There are always so many leaves and weed everywhere and the grass gets real long.

We walked over to the water, well more like i walked over and Bruno just followed. I always liked to go up and just stare at the water. It was like a mirror, being able to look at myself at what i have become. I crouched down to place my hand in and I could see Bruno behind me looking down. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of splashing him. "Hey Brunito," I said as I quickly said as i quickly got up and grabbing a handful of water and throwing it at Bruno. "Hey!" I hear Bruno says as I run a few feet away. "What?" I said giggling. I had pulled up my skirt a little so i wouldn't get wet as i ran through the water. "C'mon!" I say as Bruno starts to run after me I immediately start to run again so I wouldn't get splashed.  

He quickly caught up to me and grabbed my hand. I made the mistake of looking back at him, because all I got was a face full of water. I dropped my skirt to try and block it but i was to slow and now the bottom of my skirt was wet as well. It was now my turn to chase after Bruno. I quickly started to run after him. "Hey, get back here!" i yelled trying not to lag behind. I saw a red bucket near the edge of the lake and remembered that i had forgot it here the last time we came. I quickly grabbed it and filled it with water. Bruno had stopped to catch his breath I assume. I turned the bucket over and the water splashed out on to him. I had let go of the bucket and it landed on his head and I ran. 

I didn't hear running after me so I stopped and turned around but he was gone.

"Bruno?" I said looking around, the next thing I knew i was pushed into the water. I gasped as quickly got back up soaking wet. Bruno was just standing there not trying to laugh. I was so mad, i ran towards him. He was too slow to react and i ended up tackling him into the water. Now we both were soaking wet. I got up out of the water and pulled him up with me. I was looking at him making a mad face while trying not to laugh. 

That didn't last long and I just started laughing, and said "I'm sorry." I brushed my hand through his hair and taking out a few pieces of water life out. He crossed his arms and turned away obviously faking being upset. "Brunito,  I'm sorry. Perdoname por favor." (Forgive me please.)  I said as I looked at him with puppy dog eyes. "Pwease." I said as he finally looked towards me. I had my hands clasped together and under my chin. "Ok fine, but if you do that again, I can't promise that I can forgive you." he says.

"I know you will, you always do." I say giggling a little after. I start to ring out my hair and my skirt. Then sitting on a large rock that was next to a small tree. Bruno takes off his poncho and rings out as much of the water as he can. He hangs the Poncho on a short tree that was not to far from the edge of the lake. It seems like Pepa was having  a good day as it was really sunny. This way we could dry off fairly quickly. 

I was running my fingers through my hair as Bruno was walking over to the rock I was sitting on. I finished putting my hair in a low ponytail as Bruno sat down. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Bruno keep pushing something out of his face. I look over at him swatting a piece of his hair. All I could do is giggle at as actions. I got up as I said "Here." 

"What are you doing?" he said smiling and turning his head to follow my movements. 

"Look towards the lake, I'll put your hair up." I said as stood behind him. He turned his head and I started to brush through his curls with my fingers. "When's the last time you brushed your hair?" I said as I he had so many knots and tangles. "Oh well, I'm not sure about that." he said with a small chuckle.

"Well good thing I'm here before it got to bad. If it did we would have to cut it." I said.

"No, you would never." He said as he turned with a shocked look on his face. "Well you don't know that. I might do it when your sleeping." 

"Good thing I can look into the future to see if you do."

"Your gift doesn't say when things will happen and you won't be able to stay awake forever. But you are right, I would never, I'm to nice." I said as Bruno turned back around and I continued to brush his hair. I pull his hair up into a half up half down ponytail. "Gracias." (Thank you)

"You're welcome." I said looking away cause I knew I was starting to blush. "Well let's get you back to the casita before we get in trouble." I said as I walked over to the tree and grabbed Bruno's poncho.

"Todavia esta un poco mojado," (It's still a little wet,) "I don't think you should put it on yet." 

"Ok" he says as he reaches his hand out to grab the poncho. I placed it in his hand, I looked at him and gave him a closed eye smile. I didn't want to look him in the eye because I know I will start blushing like a fool. Just like the way Bruno was following me when we get here, I'm the one following Bruno as we leave.
