Notes: Luz's pronouns are they/them in this fan-fiction. I decided to make them non-binary, because I never seem to find any nblw couples. Additionally, Luz doesn't give the vibes of a girl to me, so I decided to make that change. Yes, I know that this detail isn't exactly canon to the show, but then again this is my story and not yours so I can do what I want to with it haha.
I would also like to mention that this specific chapter is highly dark, containing a large scale amount of homophobia as well as terms used in a derogatory manner. If any of the following disturbs you in any manner, I advice you not to read it.

"See you Monday," Amity says as she walks into the house. She shuts the door behind her.
Luz pauses and stands at the door for a couple seconds, putting their hands on their cheeks. They're surprised to find their face is extremely hot. No way, that did not just happen. A girl did NOT just kiss my cheek, they start to think. Flustered, Luz squeezes their eyes shut, and runs all the way back to the house.
Hooty sees the brunette approaching and inhales, preparing to scream, "HI LUZ..FORGET ABOUT ME? HOW WAS UR AFTERN-"
Luz sprints past the owl and runs further through the house. They accidentally step on one of King's toys...henchman... one of King's henchman. The tiny yet powerful 'ruler' scowls at the embarrassed human, crossing his paws on top of one another.
"Say you're sorry. Hmph." He mutters, turning his head away from Luz.
"I'm sorry King I'm a little b-busy uh right...right now..." Luz fumbles out. They rub the back of their neck apologetically, and continue their sprint right up to their room, locking the door behind them.
"OMG OMG OMGGGG!!!!" They scream loudly, flailing their arms around. Luz jumps up and down giggling, as if they had just won the lottery. They suddenly stop all the ruckus, and think for a moment; ...I need to see Willlow. She's gonna totally flip!
Luz glances over to the clock and signs. It's 10 o'clock at night. If they were to visit Willow at this hour, they wouldn't hear the end of it from her. How am I gonna occupy my time until tomorrow morning? They ponder at this thought for a couple seconds. Oh I know . . . Penstagram!
Luz reaches into their pocket and opens the social media platform. Giddy from the eventful day they had earlier, they scroll through their feed with a huge smile on their face. After scrolling for a bit, they find Amity's recent post from earlier. Completely mesmerized in the girl's beauty, they find their face start to heat up. I've never had such a pretty friend before, why am I feeling so flustered about a girl? Luz thinks with a blushing smile. Luz scrolls down to find the comments on such a beautiful girl's post. Their smile quickly fades away.
"What . . . what is this!?" They scream with upmost anger, and throw the device to the ground.
