Judy's point of view
"This kid, I told her to bake some muffins but she cleaned up and ran away?!? I didn't get pregnant to have someone who would disobey me! I'm going to teach her some good lesson!"
I stomped to her room and knocked on her door.
Judy: Little girl! Open the door for mama!
That's my warning call out to her. When she was young, she would open the door quickly and hugged me. It was so cute seeing her buried her face in my stomach, murmuring sorry. Then I would pat her head then smacked it and scolded her before giving her a peck on the spot I hit.
....
Judy: It's still not early for her to go to sleep. It's only 4. Carol?!?
I knocked on the door again, only to hear nothing. As my mother instinct kicked in, I slammed the door open and I was shocked. The room was cleaned!!!
Judy: Oh my days! What an obedient kid you are! But where is she?
I scanned around the room and didn't find her. A paper on the desk beside the bed caught my eyes and it was read.

Meredith's point of view
ACHOO!!
I wiped my nose with the sleeve of my sweater as I took a sip of my hot chocolate. I felt like someone was cursing me but whatever. I looked around the neighbourhood and was started to get bored as there was not a single person around. This town is even more remote than ours but I guess every town around the country is having an event on Christmas Day.
"Here is your flower!"
My eyes perked up as I finally heard a voice and it was at the little park which might be a 15 minutes walk from where I was resting but with my car, 10 seconds :). I went into the car and drove to the park to find a girl selling flowers. She was eating a blueberry beagle when a little girl came in front of her, putting her hands out, begging for some money.
The girl: Currently I don't have money but here you go!
She gave away her beagle as the little girl thanked her and ran away with it. The girl sighed and leaned against her chair, smiling. Oh don't worry, I'm standing behind a wall looking at her.
The girl: Well, time to get back to work.
I waited and looked at her giving away her flowers to even people who doesn't buy flowers with a smile on her face. I walked back to my car and thought.
Meredith: Christmas.. is about sharing happiness with others.
Whenever she gave the flowers to the people, their faces lit up with a smile.
Meredith: Christmas is also about giving away things and having a family spirit environment.
People started gathering around her little shop and they all talked to each other like they have known for years.
Meredith: Christmas... is a joyful moment where everyone became together, having this beautiful bond where everyone relates to each other.
An old woman talked about her son departing away from the family just for the sake for his girlfriend of 5 years. She cried while talking about it while everyone comforted her and the flower girl also confessed that she too was in the same condition at her teen years.
Meredith: I know that if I kept listing like this then the list would be endless so let me just stop. Now I know what Christmas is Father.
I went back to the event place and looked at my watch. It was 24th of December at 4 pm.
