8. Holy shit

Mal pov:
Harry, Gil and Zoey arrived again and Zoey looked at those two furiously.
"Why did we leave Skye and Zed behind?!"
"Zoey-"
"You're terrible!"
Zoey wanted to run towards the vamp den again but Eliza stopped her.
"Zoey, Zed and Skye are fast. They can do this."
Zoey looked at her sadly.
She had a cut on her cheek which started bleeding again.
"But-"
"No, come. Then I'll help you with your cut."
Cj gave Harry a hug and to my surprise Addison walked up to Gil.
He put his arm around her.
"Okay, wait a minute. Since when have you been...?" said Bucky, surprised.
"Seriously? That was already clear during that song of Sked." said Wynter.
"Sked?"
"Skye and Zed."
I looked at Harry.
"What about those two?"
"They were working on that Serina chick. Skye wanted the three of us to get to safety."

Zed pov:
Me and Skye walked backwards very slowly.
"So what do we do now?" I muttered.
"You have to get out of here!"
"And leave you behind? Never!"
Serina lashed out and we stooped.
"What's your problem?" I asked.
Serina looked at me furiously and grinned falsely.
"This."
She squeezed her fist and Skye reached for her chest.
"Aah!"
"What are you doing?!" I shouted and Skye fell to the ground in pain.
"Let it stop!" she screamed.
Serina laughed falsely.
"I made you a vampire. I can let you die like that."
I didn't change my mind and (tried to) attack that crease.
She let go of Skye but she grabbed me by the throat.
"Stupid mortal."
She threw me against the wall and everything hurt.
I couldn't get up and I saw that Serina was now targeting me, shit...
I wanted to get up and dodge but I just couldn't.
Serina held her dagger by my throat.
"If only you hadn't been a mortal."
I closed my eyes, waiting for the pain of the dagger that would cut my throat.
"Stop!" sounded Skye and my eyes opened again.
Serina had turned around and I took a short breath.
"Skye, what do you want to do then?" said Serina falsely and with difficulty I got up.
But instead of answering, Skye's eyes began to glow.
"This is not bad luck, Zed and I are out of here like a lightning struck!"
A bright flash followed.

Slowly I opened my eyes. We were on the other side of the forest.
At least... Where was Skye?!
I got up quickly, yes that hurt!
"Skye!?"
There was no answer and I panicked.
"SKYE?!"
I heard someone running and turned around.
"Zed!"cried Skye, she wrapped her arms around me and I put mine around her.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Not important. Are you okay? Serina threw you against a wall!"
"It's not that bad."
Lie...
Skye looked up.
"The others... Gil, Harry and Zoey will now be back with the rest."
"We also have to go there and quickly! Who knows if Serina will go there now."
"I know something."
She took my hand and her eyes glowed.
"This isn't a test, take us back to the rest."

And before we knew it we were standing in front of the lodge.
"Zed!" shouted a familiar voice and Zoey came running.
"Zoey!" and I wrapped my arms directly around her.
"I'm so glad you're okay." I said softly.
"Thanks to your zombie action."
"That was your idea."
Josh chuckled.
"So you got them normal?" and he pointed to me and Harry.
Skye nodded.
"I still have to do something. Sean, Kaylee, Wynter?"
The three sighed and Skye's eyes glowed again.
"It wasn't your deserved reward, you're anything but a vampire coward!"
They became their selves again and everyone was amazed.
"How...?"
"What...?"
"Woa..."
Skye grinned.
"This is the least I could do after what had happened..."
Sean looked at Skye in amazement.
"But how did you do this?"
"That's a long story..."
I looked at Skye.
"But I think you've forgotten someone else."
She looked at me in amazement.
"Huh?"

Skye pov:
"Huh?" I said in amazement.
Zed looked at me.
"Yourself. Back to the other vamps is not possible with this whole Serina thing."
I bit my lip and nodded.
"Yes... You're right."
My eyes glowed and I made myself again.

Later that evening I sat alone by the lake. Nice and risky with Serina and everything but that didn't bother me much.
I was the only vamp of us who could do anything against Serina... no. Who had to do something against Serina. It just had to be!
"Hey Skye." said a soft voice and I looked back.
"Cj, what are you doing here now? Aren't you supposed to sleep?"
"I saw you sitting here and I can see that something is bothering you."
"You don't have to worry about that. Go to sleep."
"Thank you for bringing my brother back to normal." I chuckled briefly.
"He needed it."
"Also, thank you for saving Zoey."
"You really like her, don't you?"
"Shhh... Nobody knows that yet!"
" Except for pretty much everyone."
By nobody did I mean Harry."
"But Zoey gave you that kiss on the cheek?"
"That doesn't have to mean anything! Other friends of Auradon do the same without being gay."
"Well, okay. But what's the problem?"
"Harry doesn't like Zed and I'm actually not allowed by Harry to hang out with Zoey."
"What nonsense!"
"Yes I know... But he's actually the only one I have now. So I don't want to do something that makes him angry or anything..."
I looked at Cj.
"Harry wants that purely because he had a bad experience with Zed. He thinks Zoey is just like that and he doesn't want them to hurt you."
"So you want to say that...?"
"If you and Zoey want to be together, you just have to. Your brother just wants you to be happy and safe. That's what all the big brothers want."
"Thanks Skye."
"No problem."
"But what's the problem with that Serina girl?"
"That's what I'm trying to figure out..."
