Dewey vs Webby Pt 3: The match

A/N: Let's do this, 2 best friends aiming for their place in history but only one will do it, who will it be? Will their friendship be the same afterwards? Read on to find out.

The bell rings as the noise from the crowd intensifies and after a good few seconds of glaring at one another, both Dewey and Webby starting circling round the ring and sizing each other up, then Dewey crouched down and raised his left hand in the air before Webby did the same and soon the two interlocked their fingers and started attempting to push each other into the adjacent corner as "Let's go Dewey" &  "Let's go Webby" chants started to resonate through the arena in perfect harmony.

Jake: Ah, a good old test of strength challenge, eh Launchpad?

Launchpad: It sure is Jake, this is a really good technique used to feel out your opponent as well as test his/her strength.

As he said that, both superstars were growling at each other while trying to push the other, Webby started to gain the upper hand and began pushing Dewey towards the turnbuckles. As his shoulders came in contact with the top turnbuckle, he began planning on how he would escape before the ref's count of 5. As soon as the ref counted 4 as Webby was about to release the hold, Dewey sprang up and pushed her down, causing the crowd to go crazy as Dewey smirked and raised his eyebrows at Webby.

Lynn Sr: Whoa, Dewey just powered out of that lock and made it look like it was nothing, Webby just may be reeling in the early stages.

Webby got up and the two started sizing each other up again and once again met in the center of the ring in a test of strength. Webby falls on her back and uses her momentum to bring Dewey with her hoping to push that he would land on his back but instead of landing on his back, Dewey removed his hands from Webby's grip and used them to kip himself up and land on his feet before glancing over his shoulder and saw Webby trying to get back up only to intercept her with a kick to the face. The crowd went wild as Webby was seen holding her jaw with a look of pure shock that almost mirrored Dewey's look of pure intensity.

Jake: Whoa, did you see how fast that was?

Launchpad: Webby may want to rethink her early game plan here, for move she has attempted so far Dewey seems to be a step ahead.

Webby got up and dusted herself off as the two started to circle yet again, she lunged forward at his head, but Dewey ducked and grabbed her waist hoping to wrestle her to the ground. But Webby utilized her strength to release herself from his grip and grabbed one of his wrists and cranked it causing Dewey to yelp in pain, she cranked it yet again but before she could do it again, Dewey gathered enough momentum to roll over and grab one of Webby's wrists and return the favor by cranking it hard as she yelped, but yelp again as he brought the hand behind her back causing more pain. The conflicting chants grew louder as Webby ran to ropes and used them to push Dewey off her, she then ran to the opposite set of ropes and rebounded off them running at Dewey with full speed, but Dewey saw it coming and slid down on his belly as Webby jumped over him, she rebounded off the ropes again and Dewey dodged her again, this time by jumping over her as the crowd collectively said 'Whoa'

But as Webby was going for a 3rd time, Dewey stood his ground and used Webby's momentum against her by hooking his arm around hers and rotating his hips causing him to throw her to the mat. Webby landed and started holding her back but Dewey didn't let up as she tried to get back up, he grabbed her head and attempted to throw her into the corner but Webby quickly threw him into the corner at ran at him jumping up and bringing her knee to his face stunning him in the corner as she brought him out of the corner and brought him down to the mat with a closeline.

Jake: Oh oh, Webby seems to be getting her second wind and looks to take control of the match right now.

As he said that Webby brought Dewey back on his feet and locked his head in between her arm and her gut as she looked to wear him out but Dewey was resilient and pushed her into the corner and rebounded off the ropes using the momentum to push her off of him but it didn't last long as Webby came back at him and shoulder barged him to the mat causing the crowd to stand on their feet. She tried to rebound off the ropes for another attack but Dewey was quick and fast, he was already on his feet and ran at her while jumping and locking his legs around her head and flipping her on her back with a hurricania causing the fans to start cheering wildly.
