Chapter Four

I awoke...feeling different. Like...I was warmer than I am in mornings...then...I got up from my bed and looked in the mirror. And screamed..I'm part cat?! I had black furred ears and a black furred tail! "Dad! Raven!" I screamed. "Yes,April?" "What sissy?" They both said. "Come here!" I yelled.why am I part cat? Dad stared at me and Raven jusy screeched in horror.
"Your not going to school like this!" Dad said. I felt so weird.. I hated being stared at...so I'm glad dad made that choice. A plumped on my bed and gazed at the ceiling. Why am I part cat? How am I part cat? Questions filled my head like a cheeta on a high speed chase.
I looked at my tail and started to bat it. What am I doing? I stopped...in horror I put my feet on the floor and sat on my bed. I looked in the mirror. What a monster I looked like.
My phone rang. "Hello?" I say. "Hey,hunny," a voice said. "M-mom?" I coaked. Why would mom want to call me? Surley she just wanted me to give it to Raven without dad noticing.
"I'll give the phone to Raven mom, I know thats why you-" she stopped me. "April! You know better!I dont see how I put up with you! Your so damn stuiped!" She yelled through the phone. My cat ears sank. I hang up,I bet she still continued. I threw the phone on my bed and slammed my door.
The last thing I wanted was to talk to mom.

It was 2:17P.M. Raven was still at school. It'll be two more hours till she gets home. Wonderd if she told any of her little friends about my cat parts. I decided to just take a cat nap. So,I did.
"April! April!" Raven called the first time but the second time wasnt her. "What...?" I say streaching. "How's your day?" She asked. "How's your friend?" I ask. "Friend? What friend?" She looks around. "Oh,n-nevermind,now,what do you need?" I got up from my bed and walked passed Raven. "Can I have cat ears and a tail too?" Raven pleaded.
" Look,Raven. I randomly got these thid morning,dont ask me." I say as I walkdd down the stairs.
If only I knew what mom was doing.
