The call.-#006

You and Sid were on your way back from school, Sid hasn't been talking to you today.

You and Sid drive back home on the bus. She hasn't really been talking to you since yesterday, probably because of how you were acting at the fountain.

We just sat there, in awkward silence. You let out a deep breath. "Why did you say all that?" Sidney asks looking at her hands. "What do you mean?" You ask. "At the fountain, talking about Casey and Steve." Sid asks. "Oh, that, I was messing around with Stu and randy, you know how much I like to bother them." you say looking at her with a low smile."do you think mom was a-" she coughs on her own words but you sit and let her finish."do you think mom had affairs with other men?"Sid asks now looking at you in the eyes. You definitely know she did, it wasn't a 'think' kind of thing, you saw her with plenty of men but never said anything about it, but you can't say that, it's wrong to say trying to comfort your sister. "No. no, I don't Sid. Cotton... is a possibility though, and you have to see that. Mom wasn't who we thought she was, she was a good mom, but a bad wife to dad." you said,  trying as hard as you could to comfort her."so you think her and Cotton really had something going on?"sid asks with nearly invisible tears brimming the inside of her eye lids.

"I don't know." The bus stops, right on time. You get out of your seats, breaking the eye contact. "I'll see you later, Sid." Tatum yells out. Sid waves and walks up to the mail box, and you start to walk up the gravel walkway that leads up to your house. Sid runs up behind you as you make it onto the porch and pull out your house keys. You get a weird feeling....like the same feeling of being watched. You unlock the door, and sid walks in before you. You look around to make sure no ones there, you even stepped off the porch to get more of a view point of the side of the house. Nothing was there so you just walked into the house.

Sidney was no where to be seen already. She's probably just in her room. you think.

You go to sit down. just as you were about to sit down, you see Sid coming downstairs with clothes in her hands."what's that?" You ask as she opens the closet door right at the end of the stair case. "I'm going over to tatums because I didn't wanna be here with just us. I actually wanted you to come with me." She closed the closet door, then started walking towards you. she sits on the couch that's across from the one you're sitting on. "Does she even have enough room for the both of us?" You say, holding the bottom part of your face with your hand as your arm sits on the couches armrest, tilting your head at her. "She's got two beds at her house, so yeah, there's enough for both of us." Sid says looking at the tv. You're playing the news channel. Sid glanced at you and back to the tv. "That's not enough room for the two of us, and I'm not sleeping on the floor." You say. You knew that there was only two beds and the beds are small for two people. 

"But, y/n, I don't want you here alone." Sid says looking at you now. You stay silent for seconds, seeming as if you're ignoring her, but you aren't. You start to change the channels on the tv, all you see is news reporters talking outside your school and speaking about Casey and Steve's death. How bad you wanted to kill again, to just feel someone try and get out of your grasp as you stab them and watch the life drain from their screams, their eyes, their skin.

You stopped channel surfing when you see gale weathers in her bright green dress. "Everyone is shocked and can't believe what happened, although, this is not the first time the small community of woodsboro has endured such tragedy." gale says on the tv. "Please, turn it off." Sid says looking at you."no. I want to see what she has to say." you say still looking at the tv with gale plastered on it."only a year ago Maureen Prescott, wife, and mother was found raped and murdered not far from the city towns squ-" the tv stopped as you turned it off. Sidney gets up and walks off. You get up,and walk into the kitchen. You look out one of the windows next to the kitchen and just look to see if you see anything. Nothing, not even a shadow of a human. All you saw are the trees. the privacy was very nice, but not good in a bad situation.
