Video store.-#002

It's now the next day. it is 3:42pm and you're walking to your favorite video store.

You figure it's time to get some stuff for Caseys house, since she invited you over to watch a few movies. You wanted to buy some different movies because she said you could pick but, you didn't have any VHS tapes at home so, you decided to go to the video store.

You thought it would be fun to see Randy today too. You both haven't talked since yesterday, it would be nice to see him. Maybe even tease him a little.

Today was a very sunny, warm day. You thought it would be good to get some sun today, just because it's said to help make you positive. You stand in front the video store. Alright, here we go. You thought. Just as you walked into video store there were quite some people, not a lot, just maybe a couple of people here and there. But it still was a lot for the video store because not many people would come in.

You couldn't find anything that you were very fond of other then Hellraiser, in which, you held in your left hand as you looked for more movies. Now that you're here, you haven't seen randy, you wonder if he even has work today, that is until you hear footsteps coming from beside you. You slowly look up from the movies you were looking at and see the man himself, Randy Meeks. You guys have been really close friends and he's always made it clear that you are definitely HIS best friend.

"Hellraiser, good choice!" Is the first thing he says to you. "Oh. uh, thanks." You really didn't know what to say to Randy right now. "How have you been? I haven't seen you in here in a couple days, I also haven't seen you at school." You would usually come and see randy at work every other day because you got bored but lately you've been...distracted."what do you mean you haven't seen me at school? You just saw me there yesterday?"you say with a small laugh at his forgetfulness."oh, yeah, sorry I spaced because these stupid fucking tests lately." He says with a slight smile.

"Well, anyways, how are you and Sid with, you know who's, death anniversary coming up?"randy says as he takes Hellraiser out your hand and starts to open and close the case, which annoyed you, but not really. "Uhh, well, we're fine."you were starting to look back at the movies again.

"You know.. I was wondering if you could talk to Sid for me?" You mentally roll your eyes. you look back up at him again. "Randy, how many times do I have to tell you this, I'm not going to hook you up with my sister."He would always ask this at least twice or even FOUR times every week, you hated it.

"Okay, okay, just trying to shoot my shot."he says, smiling playfully at you. It genuinely made you upset when he'd smile at you like that because, you'd always forgive him regardless of what he did, it's just that smile.

"Shut up." You say under your breath, trying to suppress a smile.

"By the way, I'll pay for this." Randy says, holding up Hellraiser. "No, I can pay for it mys-". He cuts you off, "I get an' employee discount, it's fine so just shut up and let me buy it for you." You stand there debating on what to say, you stay silent, he takes that as a yes and walks off to pay for it himself. You follow randy to the register and he pays for it. "Thanks. You didn't have to, I have my own money ya' know." You say with a playful attitude. "Just take it and be grateful I'm nice today." He says with a big smile on his face. He hands it to you and you take it.

"I'll see you later, randy." You say walking away. "Hey, say hi to Sidney for me!" He slightly yells back. You look back at him and shake your head. you roll your eyes and walk out the video store.

You walk into your house after your long walk back from the video store. You take off your shoes and go upstairs to your room, the room next to Sidneys.

You put Hellraiser on your bed and walk over to your closet. It's Friday so you'd stay with Casey this weekend and go to school with her on Monday, your dad said that was fine just as long as you get home as soon as you get out of school, in which, you agreed with his terms.

You grab some clothes from your closet and put them on your bed. You walk down stairs to the down stairs closet and grab a slumber bag. You walk to the bathroom and take your toothbrush and hairbrush. You walk back upstairs with your items.

You know Sidney is at tatums right now and your dad is out doing god knows what. You have the house to yourself, might as well shower.

You walk into your room and place the items down and walk back downstairs and grab two towels. You sigh, This feels like a whole workout.

You get out the shower and wrap the towel around your hair and then wrap the other towel around your body. You walk back upstairs and as you walk in you see yourself in the mirror. You stop and walk over to your dresser in which has the mirror on it. You look at your thighs then slowly up to your face. You remove the towel from your body and just continue looking at your body. You don't allow yourself to feel insecure nor happy, or confident about your body. You walk over to your closet and put on some comfortable clothes. You thought it's time to start packing so, you take a white tote bag out of closet and start packing.
