You hear some people talking as you walk into principal himbrys office, you didn't really like himbry because he gave you disgusting vibes.

you walk in and himbry leads you to a seat
"y/n!", himbry says in a low, greeting tone. "take a seat." sheriff Burke says as he sits next to Dewey, that is standing with a clip board in hand.

You sit down and set your backpack down next to you. you show absolutely no emotions that they can read off as suspicious, I mean come on, you were the least suspicious. you got good grades, came off as innocent and sweet to everyone, was kind to people and gave great advice to others, also being that Maureen Prescott was your mother and seeing her dead, people saw you as soft and fragile.

"Hi Sheriff Burke, and Dewey!" you say looking at sheriff burke then to Dewey, "that's deputy riley today, y/n." Dewey says with a small smile.

"How is everything?" sheriff Burke asks you.

"Good!", you say with a smile.

"And your dad and sister, how are they doing?" sheriff Burke says with his own slight smile growing.

"We're doing fine." you say. himbry is standing right next to you as you're sitting.

"We're gonna keep this very brief y/n. the police just wanna ask you a few questions, okay?" Himbry says putting his hand on your chin, you couldn't crack, at least, not yet, but oh how you wanted to break his fingers off right there. You flash him a quick smile.

you hum a 'yes' in response. you can see how sheriff Burke is reacting to what himbry just did to you, but didn't speak of it.

"Y/n, were you very close to Casey Becker?" Sheriff Burke asks.

"Yeah, we were friends." you say with a smile, completely not trying to say how you two got into a fight. Dewey looks at his clipboard and back to you. Your eyes felt like they wanted shift everywhere but you kept looking at Dewey and Burke.

"Was it true you two got into an argument a couple days before she was found dead?"sheriff Burke asked, you start to get a little uncomfortable you didn't want to show it, trying to keep the calm aura you intend to keep.

"Yeah, just a little disagreement." you say with a smile still on your face.

"What was this disagreement about?" sheriff Burke asks as if I'm being suspicious.

"It was.. uh.. about my mother." you say, lying, but not obvious. you knew if you were to mention your mother they would want to hurry this up faster, not wanting to make you feel sad over your deceased mother.

"And why's that?" Sheriff Burke says pushing you further surprisingly.

"Casey was always curious when it came to things, but I did always tell her I wasn't ready to talk about it but she just kept begging, so, we got into an argument about it." you say with the most calming voice, your smile drops a bit in order to go along with the situation.

Sherif Burke nods and looks at Dewey. Dewey looks at you sympathetically then goes back to writing the conversation. They later asked you more questions that weren't about the argument.

You're walking up to yours, and your friends' place to sit. You see billy give you a side eye while he's laying down with Sidney sitting between his legs. You both make quick eye contact, he looks away.

You hear the loud speakers, "your principal loves you, and I want you to be safe. all students are encouraged to join in their homes, promptly off school grounds. avoid strangers, walk in twos of threes. class will still begin tomorrow, thank you."  like as if it's a stranger. the killer is walking around your entire school grounds, freely.
