Chapter 1

It was a scorching hot day in Dubai where Daniel just got back form his bike ride with his mates. When he got home, his dad and mother had to tell him something important. His dad had just said that he would be starting a boarding school in New Zealand. Daniel was enraged because he didn't wanna leave his mates and his girlfriend which he dearly loved and had a major crush on her every since he arrived in Dubai when he was 10 years old. Now fifteen, his parents finally thought that he should experience the environment and culture they grew in. Daniel was very pissed because his parents said two months ago he wouldn't be going. Especially since he started to date Bridget.
Daniel remembers when he first moved in to the neighborhood he saw her, walking home with her long brunett hair flowing behind her. With her big green eyes...He never saw a girl so beautiful, and he though the would never meet a girl like Bridget again. As Daniel became furious he ran up to his room but he didn't know what to say Bridget about this breaking news his. He went to his computer and Skype his friends about leaving for boarding school but after a couple of hours later he came down and saw a note realizing that his dad had mom had work today so he would be left alone because they both worked for Emirates Airways.Sine he would be home alone for two days, he decided to take tan on the roof of there compound. An hour later he heard his phone ringing, it was Bridget calling he didn't pick up because he was unsure of what to say. He fell back to his chair. Then ten minutes later he heard a plane which seemed so loud. He looked up and saw a military jet so low he wondered what was going on as he saw it speeding towards the cities main buildings he saw little objects that fell out of then realized they were bombs as soon as they exploded in the air. He wondered why the UAE's military jets were doing this thinking someone hijacked the plane then as the plane circled the city more planes arrived then Daniel saw the red,black flag of Iraq on the side of plane. Not knowing what to do Daniel ran into the house and the next second a Iraqi plane crashed in to the front entrance of the family compound.
