Will We Make It

Chapter 2

As Daniel heard an explosion he realized a plane had just crashed in the family's compound as in awe he looked out the window. He realized that he needed to get help but he ran upstairs to get his cellphone but realized it was on the roof which he couldn't get because there could be a possibility of him being blown to pieces. So he went down to the Kitchen he grabbed the family home phone and dialed 999 . (A/N: 999 I just the Middle East version of 911)

As he was waiting for an answer the phone said call could not be dialed. In angry Daniel was cursing and decided to got to the families basement where it was strong and safe.Then something fell on the roof of Daniels house and Daniel was bleeding form his right thigh he felt that somewhat had hit him. He thought to himself it could have been shrapnel. As he was trying to stop the blood he saw dark long shadow on the wall. As he realized that it might the Iraqi soldiers. He saw it was an Iraqi but he was injured he looked merciless not trying to harm anyone. But at the sight of blood dripping form his thigh on to the milky white carpet and the soldiers had been bleeding excessively he though he would pass out but realized the both of them needed help. But the thinking of blood made him throw up.So when Daniel was done throwing up him and the soldiers began to gather water,food,medicine and were heading to the basement of the compound> once they both settled in. The both rested and Daniel realized he never found out the soldiers name. So in Arabic he asked his name and said it was Ahmed and so they introduced each other and talked why and what was happening. At first Daniel felt guilty for helping an enemy soldier but, Ahmed had realized that and told that Saddam Hussein the dictator of Iraq was hiring soldiers to be in the army. I needed the money for my family after I lost my first job I was desperate so I joined the army. But because Hussein was very strict and and harsh dictator and general if u didn't obey him you would be hanged not shot because he always tried to conserve bullets for the war effort. So that's how I ended up here. So after that emotional moment Daniel said Habeebee and Ahmed reply ed Habeebee. Then there was a moment of silence which was broken by a girl Screaming "Rape!! Help Me I'm getting raped!"

Then I looked out the window and I saw solider raping a girl at gunpoint. After that mother fucker was done he shot her in the head. After Daniel got pissed he realized that Ahmed had a gun and Daniel stole the shot gun opened the window and aimed at the Iraqi Soldiers in angry and released the trigger and the bullet hit his head and he dropped dead. Ahmed yelled at him,

"Do you want anyone finding out about us hiding in the basement.

Then Daniel became quiet and Ahmed said u should take a nap you need some rest.
