We were in-front of Julia's house, it looked so much better, then it did when I was there, the house looked like it was actually taken for.
- how do you feel? - I asked Julia
- I feel like throwing up - she confessed
- don't worry everything will be fine - I reassured her
- my mom can't see us, how are we gonna do this? - she asked me
- take my hand, I'll make us invisible -

I took her hand and made ourselves invisible

We entered the house, it was just before the blipped happened, Julia's mother was in the couch watching Tv with her. Julia squished my hand harder
- it's okay - I whispered in her ear

Clearly this was before the blipped actually happened. Julia's dad was there, he still looked mad, and he still smelled like beer. Then it started happening, Julia's dad and her started turning to dust, her mom screamed for Julia, but not for her Dad, which I found odd. Her mom looked panic, and I noticed Julia was crying, I squeezed her hand tighter, so she knew I was here.

Her mom grabbed a paper and started writing, she went up the stairs and we followed into Julia's room. Her room was the only one that still looked kind of the same, it was still a bit better then before, but it was definitely better than the rest of the house.

Julia's mom left the note on her bed, then she went out and into her room in the house, we followed her, that room was by far the most unorganized room in the whole house
- I never entered my parents room, I never thought it was like this - she whispered at me
Julia's mom grabbed a suitcase and started putting clothes and essential things.

She put her hair on the side, you could see a bruise on her cheek that her hair covered before, it looked bad, really bad.
- my father must have been abusive with my mom, that's why she left - Julia whispered
- that's why he started with you when she left - I whispered back, Julia's mom quickly left the house

Her mom didn't even looked back to the house. Julia let go of my hand, and colapses in the floor. She was still invisible, okay, you got me I didn't needed to hold her hand to make her invisible, I just wanted to hold her hand... don't judge me, you would have done the same, I mean. She's just perfect.

I made ourselves visible again and I hugged her tightly.

- it's all my fault, how did I not knew about this? - she said crying
- it's not your fault, you couldn't have known - I reassured her
- she suffered so much, if I just knew I could have done something - Julia crawled into me, and put her head into my neck, it broke my heart seeing her crying, since the first time I saw it when she had that nightmare.
- you couldn't have done anything, she chose to protect you, your father was an evil person, and your mom protected you, why do you think she left a note? - I asked her, she looked up at me, our faces were so close.
- I forgot about it - she said wiping some tears, but it wasn't worth it, more tears fell.
I cupped her face with my hands and with my thumbs I wiped some tears, one final tear fell and I wiped it.
- why don't we go and check that out? - I asked her
- okay - I took her hand and put her on her feet.

We went up the stairs and into her room, there was the note on her bed.
- it's weird, when I came back, the note wasn't there - Julia confessed
- maybe your father took it? -
- probably -
Julia took the note in her hands, she was about to open it, but she stopped
- can you read it for me? - she asked offering for me to take the letter
- of course - I took the letter and opened it

I'm sorry my swear girl, I have no idea if you'll come back, but if you do, I'm asking you, your father is an alcoholic, when he passes out because of the alcohol, take essentials and run away, come find me here, (some address) don't tell your father anything, I just hope you manage to get away before he does something to you, I'm so sorry Julie, I hope you come back and find me.
- your mom

Julia started crying again, I hugged her tightly
- it's okay, we can find her now - I shushed at her
- no we can't, my dad and I already went there, she wasn't there - she told me, crying more and putting her head on my chest.
- it's gonna be okay, we can still find her - I reassured her
- I don't want to find her, I don't want to see her again, she could've staid here, she abandoned me - she sobbed. She collapsed, but I held her standing.

- come on, let's go home, we can rest for the rest of the day - I told her, raising her chin, for her to look at me, I wiped some tears off her cheeks
- what about your sister? You still need to say goodbye to her - she told me, wiping some tears off her face with the back of her hands

- you are more important, you need to rest, digest all this, we can go another day - I told her
- you are so sweet, but you need this as much as I needed to know what happened - she hugged me while she hides her face on my neck
- I only brought you pain with this, I'm sorry -
- it's better to know then not knowing - she admitted
- let's go, you need to say goodbye to your sister - she said
- your amazing- I told her hugging her back resting my head on her shoulder
- let's go back -
