My name is Percy Jackson. I am 18 years old and have lived through 2 wars. I am a son of Poseidon and have saved the Gods more times than I can count. I have been through hell and back and I thought nothing could surprise me anymore.

I didn't realise just how wrong I was.

The day started normally. I woke up in my cabin and went to breakfast with Annabeth. We met up with Grover and the rest of the Seven in the afternoon, and just relaxed on the beach.

Things started to go wrong when Chiron showed up. Don't get me wrong, I love Chiron, but sometimes he can be the bearer of bad news. This time, it was exactly the case.

"Children, I need you to meet me at the big house in 5 minutes. There is something of grave importance that we must discuss."

He left after we had assured him we would be there, and we started to head back to camp.

On the way there, we started discussing what Chiron could want us for. I was just hoping it wasn't another prophecy. I hated those things.

"Maybe he's found something about Leo?" Piper's eyes were red from crying and she looked like she hadn't slept in days. She probably hadn't. None of us had.

"Or maybe the Gods have messed up again, and they're sending us to clean up after them," I grumbled, waiting for the thunder that would inevitably sound to announce Zeus' displeasure. Nothing happened, which made me glance up at the sky warily.

If there was another quest, none of us would want to be separated, as we were family. No. We were closer than family. We would not let ourselves be split up again.

Not after what happened to Leo.

While I was lost in thought, we had arrived at the Big House and waiting on the porch were several demigods, Greek and Roman.

"Thalia!" Jason ran up to his sister and hugged her tightly. "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be with the Hunt?"

Thalia nodded, the silver circlet that represented her position as the Lieutenant of Artemis gleaming in the sun. She explained that Chiron had called her and the other demigods waiting on the porch to camp, for some unknown reason.

I was wondering wether or not it was the same reason we were here, when the centaur himself trotted up to us, Nico and Will trailing behind him.

Annabeth stepped up to Chiron and asked the question on everyone's minds, "Why did you call us here? Is there another prophecy?"

Chiron shook his head, a grave - and somewhat frightened - look on his face. "No, my dear. The Gods and the Fates have met and have come up with a plan to possibly save those who died in both wars."

At those words, the mood changed alarmingly swiftly, and Piper jumped up from where she was sitting on the porch steps, an excited look on her previously upset features. "Does this mean we can save Leo?"

The centaur nodded, glanced around at all the hopeful faces staring at him and gestured for us to follow him into the Big House. As we walked, he explained how the Fates had discovered an ancient ritual for time travel, which had very few consequences for those being transported back (or forwards) in time, and the Gods had agreed to help, after some gentle prompting. Apparently, the Gods did care about their children after all. Who knew?

We had made it to Chiron's office, which we somehow managed to fit in, when he explained where we came in with the Fates plan.

I'd already had a sneaking suspicion of what Chiron was asking us to do, so it was no surprise when he announced it to the room.
