The Ones from Ancient Greece

I woke up in a large and magnificent room. Although room doesn't really cover it. It could probably fit my entire house and then some more.

It took me a while to realise that I was on Olympus, and that was only when I saw the Gods staring down at me.

I groaned and rubbed my forehead, trying to remember what had happened. "Why am I on Olympus?"

My mother answered me. "The Fates sent you here, to inform us of the future. Who are you?"

I nodded and was about to answer when Travis shifted, and then sat up. "Katie? Where are we?"

I helped pull my boyfriend up and then explained to him what had happened and that the others should hopefully wake up soon.

The Gods looked on curiously as the others woke up until only Percy and Annabeth were still unconscious. Makes sense. They are always the ones with the worst luck.

Annabeth woke up first. She cursed in Ancient Greek and stumbled to her feet, holding her forehead with one hand, while she used the other to lean on Connor, who looked very annoyed by the situation.

She looked around the room, nodded once and then looked at me questioningly. "Are we in danger from the Gods?"

"What do you mean?"

"Can the Gods smite us? Or are we protected by the Fates?"

"We are protected by the Fates. Why? You're not planning on getting killed, are you?" I really didn't want that to happen, as Annabeth was actually very nice, despite what most people think.

She shook her head and then proceeded to glare at nearly half the Gods in the room. Some of my friends laughed, while others looked slightly afraid for Annabeth.

Zeus looked furious. He opened his mouth, and I was sure he was about to murder Annabeth - no matter what the Fates said - but then a voice spoke.

"Touch my girlfriend, Zeus, and I will destroy Olympus." Percy. Of course. He always seemed to know when Annabeth is in danger.

If anything, Zeus looked even angrier. I was sure we were all dead, but then a bright light, not unlike the one that brought us here, deposited a few people in the throne room.

These people were dressed in Ancient Greek clothing, and they were all men, so I assumed they were heroes of the past. Or technically present, since we were in their time.

Time travel is confusing.

Anyway, the men looked around curiously, before hurriedly bowing to the gods once they realised where they were and who they were standing in front of.

Zeus looked at them curiously and then commanded them to stand and introduce themselves.

One by one they revealed who they were and who their parents were and I realised I was standing in a room full of famous demigods.

Among us was Heracles, son of Zeus, Perseus, another son of Zeus, Theseus, a son of Poseidon, Bellerophon, son of Poseidon and Aeneas, son of Aphrodite.

I was partly disappointed that Achilles wasn't there, but I quickly got over that as I noticed Percy glaring at Heracles.

I'm not sure why Percy didn't like Heracles, but I was sure that I did not want to be on the receiving end of Percy's anger.

Once the demigods of the past had been introduced, we all just sort of stood around awkwardly, until Hestia, the best goddess in my opinion (and every other demigods too), said, "You all must be quite uncomfortable. I can summon you some chairs, with soft pillows and blankets, if you wish. I think you might be more comfortable that way."

Percy smiled warmly and nodded his head, looking very exhausted. "Thank you, Aunt Hestia. That's very kind of you."

Hestia smiled at all of us and then I blinked and suddenly I was surrounded by a lot of chairs, all with curved backs, and surprisingly soft seats.

It didn't take long for all of us to be seated, some, like the past/present people, hesitating before making themselves comfortable.

"Well then," Athena clapped her hands, "should we get on with this?"
