"It's Evanora nice to meet you."
He shook her hand still in disbelief. "You're an Enchantress" He whispered.
She gave a thin smile "That I am" She nodded.
He got comfortable and shifted in his seat as the room got warmer. "You most likely read fortunes. Read it for me?" He said.
"Oh sure. you're a wizard's apprentice you have secrets just like I do. But I'd let you know..."She looked at him with intent."The future is mingled with you around. Don't try to fix something that isn't yours to fix." Her voice became hoarse.
But she broke the suddenly chilly ambience of the room and got up from her chair. "That was utterly vague." He mumbled.
"No boy, it is a spirit's message to you...and yours are particularly secretive about what they know about you." She stared at him, smiling.
"do you work here?" he asked
"sort of. my mom used to own this shop of metaphysical herbs and aids. I took over after she died and turned it into something more...that resembled me." She said.
"you know there aren't a lot of witches around here...And I mean it could be-"
"dangerous? I am fully aware of that. That is why you called me an enchantress than a witch" She winked. "I didn't call you a-" He looked at Archie "you did," he confirmed."It means the same thing but can give you enough time to move before they figure out that it's the same as a witch.
They see enchantresses as healers even angels. even though witches do the same thing as what a healer does." she said while she placed the books on the shelf, A witch is only unafraid of what she learns and studies. She thought
Her eyes fell on Hisardoux's bracelet. She froze for a moment."that's-" he interrupted her.
"A magical bracelet that confirms my position as the apprentice? yes, ma'am" He said while smirking. "that's incredible" She whispered and came forward as she caressed it.
"what magical abilities do you have?" she asked"Well, I can make things disappear...do little vanishing and portal tricks here and there. Just, you know the basics mostly."
Archie intruded "Yes, especially the part where you sweep the book store and keep the urge to use the magic for chores under wraps"
Doux gave him a death glance as Archie ignored smiling but Eva kept staring at his bracelet.
Douxie asked her "what about you what other things can you do?"
"I'm honestly still finding out more. I've been into reading and studying about certain creatures for now, however. There's a lot to study in the realm of magic."
"Or you could just take the shortcut and make it to the wizard himself."
"I'm a witch, not a wizard. there's a difference you'd know if you were well-read" She said in a sassy tone.
"there's a sassy one," Archie remarked. Doux came closer to her as they walked, "So do you learn magic on your own or did you have a-?"
"I had a master, but he had to go overseas for purposes of his own, I'm on my own since then, but I mean I didn't need anyone to teach much since I'm more into learning magick for now. And I have been as well" She replied.
"why don't you come to my master wizard's place, we have a ton of books there to help you out for your learning," Douxie said without blinking.Archie looked at him. "oh...That's a generous offer. Will your master, mind it?" She asked.
"I don't think he would," He said while he thought if it really would work.
"Maybe we could go and talk to him now if you're still hesitant...?" She asked.
Doxie snapped his fingers, "Yes let's go then"He waved his hand for a portal but it appeared under them and the next thing they knew was that they were on a pile of books.
